Hello, nice video, I thank you to share it. I have a question please. SanDisk Extreme PRO V2 works fine with GH6, but don't you think it's better to use the NON-Pro version? I think they works the same because the USB port decreases the higher power of the Pro version. Am I wrong? Thank you.

You are right, the standard drive will do everything you need on the camera, so the pro drive is not necessarily needed for the GH6. The advantage it has is the faster speeds offloading the footage to other drives or working directly from it while editing. The rest is just aesthetics really.

@@ExploringWorldRU-vid Same USB C port but the pro version has a faster read and write speed on supported devices. So on a newer Mac or Windows machine with the latest USB C ports, you will get those top speeds.

Sadly not, when you switch into SSD recording the CF Express and SD card are unavailable. I am hoping they work out a way to either make the CF Express card a backup option or a way to at least offload footage to the drive in the camera.

Do you use Spot luminance meters? What does this point for adjustment give?

Hi, yes I do use it occasionally. I'm not entirely sure what you mean, it's a tool for measuring the exposure in IRE or stops. So you can check if your mid tones are right and if your highlights and shadows are going to be recoverable.

@@lnuponom2678 hey sorry, this conversation was making no sense to me because RU-vid held the the second comment in pending because it had a link in it. Ok so, it's like using the waveform monitor on your camera but it's just reading out that one tiny section. I will try and do a video explaining it in a little more detail.

It would be nice to know how else to attach the wire so that it does not accidentally pull out of the camera. Otherwise, you can lose the video or the disk will fail altogether. There are not always ideal conditions.

I have been using the cable clamp on the SmallRig cage. But being that the cable tidy that comes with the camera doesn't have a clamp I didn't mention it.

@@DroseMr sadly not at the moment, the closest thing you can do is add it to MyMenu, which isn't ideal but hopefully they will add it as a shortcut in a future firmware update 🤞
