@@MrSteve.i wow. Thank you for the detailed answer. I really appreciate it. Can’t wait to see more footage from this camera. I’m still on the fence on whether I should but it or not. I already have a few mirrorless Sony cameras which makes it difficult .
No worries, glad to help. I did consider the Sony z90 for the 1" sensor but heard bad reports about the poor zoom button. difficult to get a nice smooth slow zoom in or out which put me off it. The biggest downsides of the X1500 are the ergonomics of the buttons and if you want to shoot anything in other than "Auto". The feel of buttons are terrible and it's been set-up really to shoot in AUTO mode, You can shoot in manual but it's a pain to navigate through the menus. If you like to tweak everything all the time, it's not the camera for you. Have to say though in AUTO it does a pretty good job, most of the time. I'm still getting used to it and spent another couple of hours in the manual this evening but I can tell you I'll still VERY happy with the purchase. Look, at the end of the day, you could always buy one from Amazon. If you don't like it they have a returns policy, right ?
