This camera is amazing for the price range. Panasonic has made a wonderful tools. I own one like this and I appreciate the versatility and the full specs of it. For trekking or wildlife photography it is a fantastic camera....2.8 at all zoom scale, Leica quality of lenses, touch and tiltable lcd screen, etc etc....I Simply love it. And I own also many Nikon full frame and Apsc with some big lens. Lumix fz30o has a special place in my bags.

WOW hand held is awesome with that 2.8 thru out, the turtle shot was really cool. Love how it has no motor sound when zooming in and out, great video review.
So, I am a complete amateur with this camera. I've had it only a short time, and still trying to gather as much knowledge about it that I can to help me out. For this instance, you provided your settings but when I go to my settings the i.Zoom and digital zoom options aren't on, and I cannot access them to turn them on. They are greyed out for me. What do I need to change, to be able to access them? I tried accessing in Ia mode and then again in P mode. Nothing.
