I have been pulling my hair out figuring this out and you answered my problem at 4:09 if you only see the lumix logo on streaming software close out the lumix tethering software 🤯 thank you !!
You don't even need an external microphone. You can connect the headphone output of the camera to the microphone-input of your computer with a cable with 2 male mini stereo connectors. Set the microphone output volume between 10 and 12, and that's it. I left the microphone setting of the camera on auto. Don't forget to turn on the microphone return setting on your PC (so you can hear what the microphone is picking up)
First time setting this up here. Mac M1. Tether software works a treat. Open Zoom, nada. Open OBS and Lumix Webcam Software appears and works a treat there, then via virtual camera I can get the feed into Zoom. Kinda hoped to get LWS to open direct in Zoom.
Having this same problem. What is virtual camera? How do I find that? Been looking in settings and accessibility giving all the permissions there but that's not working.
I have the panasonic S1H, and for some reason when I go to the camera with Lumix Teather software on, the Lumix camera doesn't pop up as an option, do you know why?
Thanks for the tutorial! I do have a problem though. I can get it to work in Zoom, but I cannot select the S5 as a source in other apps than Zoom. Anyone else has this issue and a possible solution?
