Panasonic S5 IIX vs Panasonic GH6 | First Impressions 

5:13 the GH6 has more buttons and better articulated screen, that's why its bigger. 5:51 really man ? comparing the highest most pro MFT lens to a ff kit lens ? compare it to a high-end L lens, those are HUGE too... 6:13 definitely not the biggest mid range zoom, the RF 28-70 f2 is, and putting THAT aside, the aperture is not the same, the MFT lens is 1.7... I mean, I get your point but still, those cameras are on a whole different category, and even you mention later on, all the advantages of the GH6's body, for example, the 35-100 f2.8 II compared to a 70-200 FF, you know its a HUGE DIFFERENCE, and the 12-35 compared to a 24-70, way different, I know you know this but the way you said it sounded like a rant about 2 completely different categories, let's just wait for the GH6 FF equivalent to release, the S2H.

A few of thoughts: 1) Slow-mo on the GH6 is better than the S5iix; 2) The hand-held 100MP mode on the GH6 is voodoo magic; 3) The 10-25 is NOT the best example of compactness on M43.

did you notice any light streaking in the gh6? in high contrast situations

You, along with many others, say M4/3 "is not enough" for still photography. I would love to see that demonstrated with side by side comparison of images. Apart from a very small difference in DR, I would doubt you would see much difference. Can you tell I've heard this one too many times??

I like this video and it’s a honest thoughts on a camera. However there’s some stuff in thats a little bit of a stretch or factually wrong. Like comparing the f1.7 lumix Leica pro lens with the entry level kit lens for size comparison. The f1.7 zoom is that big because it’s f1.7 constant zoom. The size increase for a wide aperture zoom is an exponential growth, that’s why most zoom lenses stop at f2.8 for full frame, because it’s the best for size and performance. Most MFT lenses are smaller than their full frame counterparts, just look at a telephoto lens to get an idea of that. Also Panasonic didn’t place the lens release switch at the bottom left… they didn’t design the lens mount Leica did long before lumix joined in and made the L mount alliance. LUMIX did however, help to create the MFT system and that has the lens release on the left side… I don’t disagree completely with the thoughts, although I’ve been shooting on LUMIX S cameras for a few years now and never accidentally hit that switch, nor had issues reaching it. But it wasn’t Panasonic that designed it… it was Leica

Which one do u recommend for music video?

Gh6 clearly is the better video camera., s5 has advantages for photography. I still own a gh5 and use it for photo and video equally. I bought it because it is a good camera not because it is small. I dont get why some people think a mft camera has to be small.

How is small in your brain :D. PL lens for S35 is bigger and better than your FF lens ever
