Zarrek and Krakduk play an eight man team based”who’s that model” elimination game between the two. Split em up into random teams with two members of each group and have them fight over possession of the space hulk!
All I could think when the second Custodes dread popped up was "BROTHER SANTODES! Convince them.." Gods I love when you guys get someone like Collin: there is going to a significant difference in opinions at some singular moment. "IT'S THE SAME BOX!"
I like murderfang a lot because they don't actually know if he's a wulfen dreadnought or not. The Space Wolves just landed on this planet and found him wandering around, said 'hey that looks like one of ours' and abducted him. They don't let him out of the basement where they keep the dreadnoughts unless something really bad is happening and you just need a feral blender, and the space wolves have 100+ dreadnoughts, so it has to be really bad if they choose him over anyone else
HOW THE FUCK DID YOU ALL FORGET LHORKE HE NEARLY KILLED LORGAR lotara woke him up to defend their ship from ultra marines his response was THE WHO?! THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?? he was the former legion master before angron got found he is the most venerable right next to rylanor
But Colin, that’s exactly how mechwarrior works… you take a urbanmech and strip all it’s armor and add a extra medium laser to it= mk 2, take the same urbanmech max it’s armor and switch the medium lasers for ER medium lasers and a command console in the cockpit= mk 3 hero mech
Ya forgot Chyron the Lementers Dreadnought who though his chapter was wiped out while with the Deathwatch iirc and was also funny when he hid in a pile of Trynid bodies and surprised his brothers was even playing hide and seek with his foes too if I’m correct
At 17:37, during the live comments, I just seen some one ask, "What's root beer?" I just died a little inside when I saw that.
i think the biggest visual downside to the redemptor/primaris dread is the sarcophagus is sunken into a hole behind other plates, if that beerbelly plate kept going all the way up, and joined the top of the dread and then just, put the classic slit viewing port on that, i think it would be a lot cooler looking
I sort of liked how the sarcophagus slots into place like it was inserted into the dreadnought instead of being incorporated as part of the base structure.
"Is Tankred not entitled to dream of bitches?" that is a line. However Tankred's lore is a LOT deeper than that, he has an entire comic about the guy, even prior to his interment, all the way from a feral world recruit for the Black Templars, Tankred throws hands with a lot of enemies. enduring a lot of bullshit, and even 1v1's a deamon prince. "Tankred Endures."
I like the space wolves, what i dont like is GW feels the need to put wolf in front of everything which isnt even unique since they do that with all the animal enspired chapters
1:57:20 So you're saying that a guy named Carab Culln got bitten by a nid and decided to evolve into crab? That's venerable af.
15:45 I will not accept this pilk slander, You take two good things and put them together to make a better thing, and It works with root beer and Dr pepper too!
I will formally issue complaint pertaining to the Brutalis and, by extent if the Furioso, the Death Company Dreadnought, and that at least in my case the two are swapped in their placements. After just going 0-3 at a local tournament this past Sunday my boi, DC Dreadnought Terry, in the last game (that I still lost) beat the brakes off a Brutalis in two turns of combat. The first turn Terry charged and knocked most of his wounds off after weathering overwatch and fighting twice Second turn, the Brutalis fell back, shot and charged, dealt meager mortals on the charge and knocked half Terry's wounds off, after which Terry proceeded to rip his sarcophagus out of the chassis and throw the resulting scrap in the dumpster where most Primaris units belong. Mah boi Terry is my MVP model at every game I play and he's my second ever model I painted in the hobby of Warhammer. *Boxnought gang stay winning*
Librarian dreadnoughts do have something special that let's librarians use them. It's some weird device designed by Magnus The Red. It was offered to every legion. Only blood angels had any real interest in it
Good to see that the boxnaught is getting the respect it deserves. I wonder if you could make the ballistus go up a tier just by cutting out the knees.
I got a soft spot for the ironclad First dreadnaught i ever owned (of 3 now) And because I didnt own a codex back then I just added every single option The smoke grenades, the big ass missiles, the addon armor plating, the banner, the searchlight
panc should be the the adopted astartes aka some elector count they found floating in the void after a warp storm spit him out in 40k from the endtimes
1:49:19 i think I heard somewhere that the technology to make them was a gift from Magnus to sanguine because normally a psyker loser there power when they are being put in the box
@@epicassassin8502 they had them in the heresy, the Osiron Dreadnoughts , i don't know what happened to them, maybe the pilots couldn't handle the rubric and they all died
GOD FUCKING DAMMIT. After a LONG ASS DAY of work, I show up at home, turn on some youtube, and eat dinner. First thing I hear? "Crazy Davemaxxing". It's gonna be a good night, man.
“Cassor is peak most venerable. “So says Cassor” also shout out to Moriar the chosen the OG Blood Angels death company dreadnought who aslso suffered from the red thirst and had his sarcophagus modified to allow him to drink the blood of his victims.
38:26 That mission statement died the second they created it lol. Like Blood Angels and Dark Angels just get and create new toys in house all the time lmao
The amount of slightly different fridge models and complete lack of legion specific contemptors and even worse, grouping the achillius and galatus in one slot has me absolutely seething.
I will counter, the Boxnaught does have knees, you can see them on the model. What it *doesn’t* have is shins, the knees connect directly to the feet via pistons.
Ya know, it's kinda ironic that people say that "primaris dreadnaughts are better" when the Ballistus is an obvious downgrade from the Derideo, and the Leviathan performs just as well as a Redemptor with more options to choose from. From a lore point, I can understand why they aren't seen in current era 40k. But they should at least have playable stat blocks that AREN'T stuck in legends, with the caveat that you're restricted to a singular model amongst the patterns that were still playable in 9th
Gonna need to look up The Great Beast of Sarum later. I actually have a homebrew guard force known as the Sarum Guard and so I guess now they've fought Tyranids before.
1:01:14 this one is actually my favorite of the primaris dreadnaughts and that is because it reminds me of the old Lego mech them "Exo Force." between the weapon arms, the chunky torso, and the way the feet/legs look. true most of the naughts have this template but this one in particular looks like those old Lego kits.
talking dreadnoughts forgetting dreadnought weapons all the time furioso: the only one that has a fragstorm shotgun in the entire range Librarian: old piece of tech that was created before the heresy and only the Khan and Sanguinius had any knowledge about it what Magnus was doing (and Sanguinius was the only one that kept some of those) and cassor is mad yes and he has the black rage in full... the time when a carnifex spits plasma at him and he literally goes:.... warpspawn magic you DARE cassor wont stand for this... the mid fight he sees 1st Company Captain Karlean and goes: im insane i know but i will fight on for the Blood!
The cast of Fairham model looks good. My only complaint is the legs it’s the picture obviously, but the legs just look like a stand with the giant robot. That’s making it look like a tour its legs do not look like they would move if you were to update this thing you could keep it the same just update the legs so it looks like they’re more movable rather than giant robot on table legs😅
Will point out that there’s a reason why the primaris dreadnoughts lost the “venerable” bit… Let’s just say, Cawl pulled a couple tricks from the “dunecrawler”, so you gotta swap in a new pilot every once in a while.
They brought that up at the start, and honestly I would rather they retcon that if they couldn't handwave it away. Because having chapter veterans in Venerable Dreads is a big thing that gave Astartes chapters a lot of history.
Carcharodons chapter in the book red tithe it implies their dreadnoughts were amount the first exiled from the Imperium, so sticking with the accepted theory that the space sharks are terran raven guard those dreads are up there in age. Not sure if it really counts tho because they're frozen in ice, cold storage like a bunch of tuna on a boat but ah well
Sad there wasn’t the BA Legion Contemptor Incaendius Class is a melee contemptor with a huge jump pack rocket on the back that looks like it would do a nasa launch every time it hops around. Also don’t sleep on the Death Company Dreadnought it is crazy in lists and is very sad to have a black rage dreadnought just screaming in pain and agony for centuries.
I would have exchanged placing for Furibundus and Furioso and I am VERY MUCH missing Bray'arth Ashmantle (or the Iron Dragon), but at least the video is very funny.
