Welcome back to another video. In todays video we have taken the plunge and bought a Panda mattress topper. We are headed to an evening wedding reception and will be camping on the carpark.
Join us as we test out the mattress topper for the first time, give some initial feedback and show how we will store it away when not in use.

Thanks! I already bought the Panda mattress topper. After watching your vid I bought the same carry bag and bungee straps. I'll be using the topper for holidays because the mattresses in hotels are terrible. The bag and straps make it easy to transport.

I really enjoyed this review. We have a rock and roll bed but it has a thick mattress so we are ok thankfully. With us and 3 dogs we would never fit a topper in lol! I do smile at Lou’s face when she said it was ‘a stealth camp sort of’. 😂 Great dancing at the wedding. Btw I have no idea why you channel isn’t growing faster s your videos are some of the best in my opinion. Keep them coming. 😊

Have the same panda in my t5.. The topper also fits into a normal quilt cover to protect the topper

Great detailed review! Just wondering if you've noticed any difference in quality after rolling / unrolling the topper on a daily basis? We are looking to use the same product in our conversion and will be stowing it away most days.

I'm looking at buying one but I have a Berlingo Microcamper. The single Panda topper is 190 x 90 but my bed is 165 x 83. So what I'm wondering is ...how soft is it? The bed is inbetween the wall/sliding door and 'kitchen' area...in theory I'm thinking it will wedge in ok, but will be too long....any ideas how to deal with the length? Do you think they can be cut? or potentially roll it over or something?

You could potentially cut the foam down a bit. The toppers have a removable cover on them so you could take the cover off so that you could trim the foam. It is a fairly firm foam, but it might bend over if you’d rather not cut it. We roll ours up for storage so they do bend, it’s just whether it will stay where you need it to.

Can I ask why you couldn't store it in the pop top with the roof down . Is it because of the width or the thickness ?

It’s just because we have quite a slimline roof. The mattress and the panda topper combined are too thick to stay up there together. Thanks for watching 😊

Thank you for you kind comment about our videos. We’re glad you enjoy them. You should be absolutely fine to stand up and cook with the poptop up. With regards to the length of the beds, it might depend a little bit on which roof and which downstairs bed the van has, as I’m guessing they vary slightly. I’m absolutely fine on our poptop bed, and I’d say the downstairs bed is just long enough for me. For reference we have a Reimo roof and our downstairs bed is the same as you would find in a California. Hope this helps. Thanks so much for watching 👍🏻
