Hearing the crowd roaring in a blowout loss is an amazing thing. This was one of those little moments that you remember decades after you forget the sting of the embarrassing loss. For all his faults, Sandoval really gave the fans a gift with this performance. Baseball needs more fun like this. And no joke, he's like a quality slider away from being a legitimate relief pitcher. Sergio Romo dominated for a long time with an 86mph fastball he used mostly to establish the slider.

He's also originally a left-handed thrower. Ever since he was little he wanted to play Third Base like his favorite player so he taught himself how to throw with his right. He could be a switch pitcher!!!

Tornait That rule only says you need to choose a side to pitch to each batter. You can choose to switch throwing hands between batters.

you still have to put into account that the Dodgers weren't really trying, they were up by 9 in the in the 9th. still, good curve and fastball, shit I can barely touch 40mph on a fastball.

Bmoose Yeah, but 80% of hitters are like that. They had to make a time limit between pitches because some pitchers would take 45+ seconds to throw another pitch.

Proud to say he did it again, May 6, 2019 against the Reds. Hit the first batter, then induced a lazy fly ball and an inning ending double play grounder to short. Still 0.00 ERA! Amazing!

Good breaking ball, almost 12-6 break. A little firm at times but plays up to a 45 due to deception. I'd give him a 50 fastball too, high 80 heat with good movement (arm-side) and ability to paint both corners.

Went to the Friday night game, brought my Panda costume head for Panda and to try to get on TV - he doesn't play. Next day he plays and pitches. Great... So much for bringing that.

It's was a lop sided blowout game and this was the first game in a double header so they probably wanted to get this one over with and give the fans something to smile about at the end, but it was really fun watching Pablo pitch the 9th Inning as I didn't know he could pitch. Good curve ball!
