I’ve heard the same, nothing definite really. Makes you wonder if Bambu are considering offering something similar themselves. They would sell them by the bucket load, if they did. They could also provide printing plans for a holder that would use the existing slots, it could be powered by the existing cable, or by the USB socket behind the existing screen. My take at the moment is to wait and see, I can use the little screen, and in addition my iPhone. Know this doesn’t help you much, sorry 😔.
Hi Peter. I recently saw another video where fitting a touchscreen to the P1S was discussed. One of the contributors mentioned that using one might invalidate the guarantee, and that a future update of the Bambu software might prevent the operation of an aftermarket touchscreen. Thinking that it might be a good idea if Bambu were to research the possibility of providing one themselves, I got in contact with their customer services and put the idea to them. They thought it would be a worthwhile addition to their range, and would pass the idea on to their research and development department . I for one, would definitely buy one if they make them available, and I said to them that I thought many other P Series printer owners would do likewise.
What information … ? And why won’t you use it , cause of an update issue ? My p1s broke not from this only had 3 months was birthday gift . They won’t let my wife return it .
@@PeterAgostiniJdcap26 Sounds strange, who did you purchase it from? I purchased mine from Additive-X in Rippon UK, and they couldn’t have been more helpful 🤗
