I just bought the pink version for my daughter for Christmas. She has no idea what it is, but hen I told her it was "a complicated gift that needed to be assembled" she immediately said she wants to help put it together. Atta girl!!
I bought the pro package for my daughter, it arrived with a cut in the carry bag. I contacted the company through Amazon and they are sending me a whole new pro package bow! Pandarus Archery has awesome customer service! They told me to be careful when opening but I didnt open it with a knife. They say they are inspected before shipping. The box was severely damaged in shipping. Mabe it was the postal service that shipped it. I'm very impressed with the service. For $150 they send everything she will need to start archery. Daddy just bought the Sanlida X8 to shoot with her. I had an old 20 year old Jennings Buckmasters bow that was given to me years ago but I never set it up. Archery shop told me forget that bow and get a modern one. Sanlida X8 seemed to be the best deal for the money. Thanks for your reviews of both those bows. I hope Sanlida stands behind their products the way Pandarus Archery does.
I think you missed that after adjusting the red cams top and bottom to the appropriate draw strength, you have to adjust the draw stop peg near the upper cam (there isn't one near the bottom cam) to make sure the draw length is right (I think!). I forgot that the first time I set the cams; thankfully the instructions are pretty good - even if the font size is a bit rough on these old eyes!
Anyone seen a manual with instructions on adjusting it? Have had it for two years and my son needs it adjusted for longer length, but can't find the manual.
"3/16ths of a Grinch." 😝 I just ordered this bow last night. I know it's a youth bow and I am clearly not a youth but I need a hobby before I start getting into trouble and none of the adult bows were in my price range lol
I might get made fun of but I'm disabled and bought this for my first bow. I want to start hunting and thought this we be perfect for me as a beginner. My bow has the rest on the opposite side so I had to flip and reverse my sight so the level is on the bottom, but I don't think that's right where can I get the correct sight
I just bought the 21 dragon x8 and was wondering why your sending yours back? I have had trouble grouping my arrows out past thirty yards, it’s prolly from using cheap arrows that the bow come with. If you have any kind of advice for me about the bow I would like hear what you have to say
@@ericcollins4184 I'm Just joking I haven't had any problems with my bow I did get carbon express carnivore arrows to shoot with it though so far so good
I just got mine and the cams are backwards and have no idea how to fix the cams and mine has up to 70lb draw and one page of directions for the attachments and nothing else
@@wcwcgarner2717 NP and also yes this is a great bow. Just make sure user knows how to use a bow properly or it can derail during shooting, especially when you have the poundage real low.
@@wcwcgarner2717 He'll love it. I bought it for my daughter last year and we have not had any issues with it. My younger son has a Bear Cruzer bow and the quality is on comparable. I lost a part on the bow and emailed the company and they sent it to me right away with no fee from China, so customer service is also good.
All these bow reviewers make the same mistake. They screw all the parts on without mounting the bow into a bow vise with a n xy bow level set (you can also use your bicycle stand). The bow is first leveled, then you can properly attach the whisker basket with an arrow and leveled. The sight can be adjusted level and roughly centered to the peep sight. If you don't do any of this, you have to re-do it at a range and lose all your screws, or pay a pro-shop dude to do it for you. Then I love how everyone wants to pull the string back without an arrow setting yourself up for a dry-fire disaster. May as well have reviewers show off a loaded gun. Nothing could possibly go wrong.
