Time to close out the month of July with something I've been waiting two years to do! Since the start of the COVID Pandemic back in 2020, I started a little project that I knew would result in something or nothing at all and that project was a pineapple stalk that I received as a gift from a farm. I thought I'd try it out and see if I could strike gold and now on July 31st, 2022, I have: My Pandemic Pineapple Won! And it was delicious!
I thought for sure it would fail, I thought for sure it would taste horrible, or get eaten by a random animal or stolen by another human being but none of that occurred. Two years later, I finally got to enjoy it. This should convince everyone that gardening ain't such a lame thing after all (not that I ever said that) but it yields impressive results. I'm already on my next three pineapples!
