I’ve had a Pandora’s box 6S since 2018 ,which made me fall in love with the arcade games of my youth all over again. I first upgraded to a bartop machine that ran on Raspberry Pi and after that i bought a bartop arcade beast that runs Hyperspin…that’s my pride and joy. I play it nearly everyday.I’m in the process of getting a new hard drive for it from the amazing guy who built it. I couldn’t help noticing the Super Console X and X-Pro soon after their release. So i bought one as a tiny travelling companion. I never failed to pack it every single time i stayed away from home…but me being me,i spotted the Mini PC’s on “Wicked Gamer & Collector” RU-vid channel,so i bought myself one of those. Now that’s my mini travel buddy. The entire best part of all this,is the fact i give my older stuff to my grandchildren and they love them. Never would i of believed back in the 1970’s,I’d be playing video games with my very own grandkids. The one thing though that i kept was my original Pandora’s Box 6s..that’s actually sitting in front of me right now on the coffee table.
PCE stands for PC engine which was the Japanese version of the turbografx. The turbo came out in the US in 89 or 1990 I bought one in 1991. It came out in 1987 in Japan as was a success there but did not do too well here.
I would have loved it if you could play Street Of Rage 1 - 3 with remake features in 4 players mode but wish that they could have made it where you could also had the option to just connect two Pandora's box together to make it more arcade room authentic just imagine playing games like TMNT and Turtles In Time arcade, Battle Toads arcade, The Simpsons arcade, Crime Fighters and Vendetta, Desert Assault, Zero Hero USA, Silent Dragon, Spider-Man arcade, Avengers arcade, and for X-MEN arcade a third Pandora boxes connections for that six player authentic game playing experience, Gauntlet, Legends, and Dark Legacy with Dark Legacy four possible Pandora's box connections for a super size eight player game play game room experience.
Thank you for the excellent review and demonstration, really gives a clear perspective on the console. Beautiful product. You mentioned that you were unable to download games as there was no wifi capability or ethernet port however, my suggestion is to maybe try to use a MIFI ROUTER which has a USB cable for a direct connection and to plug it to the USB port of the console and see if it picks up. If this proves to be successful this will be a way to download more games.
You can probably connect a usb Ethernet adapter. I know the apple ethernet usb dongle has built in support in the linux kernel so there is a good chance it will just work. With that you can get on the app store.
You sold it to me, I have just ordered one off e-bay £159.00, the same model but with built-in wi-fi. I was going to build my own but this item takes all the heartache out of building one, thanks for the review
The mistake you made is you bought it from eBay. I did not share an eBay link. eBay sells a lot of fake boxes. You should have purchased from my link if you wanted the same product as I reviewed.
i own the pandora 9 and the clicking sound isn't so bad as that. the room he's in is clearly good sound bouncing around, or sound mic on high. also once playing the game it blends all in.or if you buy one go to the real site they offer better buttons and controller when you buy one.

i have a jamma version & 6067 version and the latency is serviceable ; HOWEVER there is no way to guarantee that your milage will be the same the dice is rolled upon ordering lol great for kids - for the hardcore build a rp3+ or misterfpga
I also want to build an arcade game machine with raspberry pie, but no one helps me deal with the bugs and game compatibility of the running game. I still wait for other experts to give a tutorial. 😀
I grew up in the Golden Age of arcades, where hanging out at the mall on the weekends involved at least 2 multi-hour trips to Alladin's Den, right off of the food court. Ms. PacMan, Galaga, QBert, OutRun, After Burner, N.A.R.C., these were my jams. I was fortunate enough to be in college when Dreamcast dropped, so Soul Calibur and House of the Dead II were staples, as well as the hours spent on Smash Bros and Goldeneye Tournaments on the 64. Somehow Playstation mostly was lost on me until Tekken Tag on PS2, but Sony owned a lot of my arcade quarters during the 90s. That all being said, this looks great but the joystick sounds really clicky. Am i wrong?

I am shopping for a box for my parents ( under $100) , any suggestions? I checked all charts on website but tbh got a little confused ! For example I bought my mecool km3 based on your chart direct from your channel at discounted price (only £55 64gb) and is running still fantastic like audi after around a year , but it’s not there on the charts anymore , but mi box s is there ! at the time I bought mine mibox was lower on the list that’s-why I am torn. I appreciate if you shed some light and introduce me some android box .
Hi chigz, to answer the question to make to system internet capable. use a usb to usb dual end cable. Then add a WIFI USB Adapter. I prefer to use at a low cost the, the NETGEAR AC1 1200. It is a dual band 802.11AC, USB 3.0 which works with all standard WIFI.
Also a question, in the market area on the console system when you want to add games would you provide a company list of where the games are being brought from such as if it’s like G2a.com and such. The next question would be how to download your own games to the system or where to find Roms that work of specific with the game console?
I ordered one of these hard to tell if it will be the same as there seems to be different variations. So many games I probably won't play. But mostly purchased for the actual arcade titles. It would be nice to find a video that shows them off.
They have a list of you use this instrument called Google you can find a complete game list..just as heads up but I think this Google is going end up being a big deal in society
Pce is PC Engine by NEC. There seems to be a bit of input lag. Is that due to me watching you play via RU-vid? Please show the arcade games. Is bubble symphony on there? Mr Do etc?

You have one mono speaker built in, it’s loud and clear but not great quality. However, when you connect via HDMI you get the sound on your TV too. So you can turn off the internal speaker and achieve better sound on your Tv.
Hi, can you use this as a 'fight stick controller' if you choose not to play the included games and run some PC steam games? I think a review of the pandora 6 said it can be plugged into the PC and auto downloaded the required drivers and used as a standard controller. Have you tried this on a PC yet? Can someone help me? I get this arcade last summer and it was ok until last night. The list of games doesn't shoe up. I tried to contact the seller but they don't answer. Does anybody has the same problem?
Hi CTR, do you need to reconfig the buttons everytime playing PS1, N64 and DC game? I mean do you need to reconfig the buttons again in the second game after playing the first game?
Didn't read all the comments so maybe it is already answered, anyway you can plug an USB wifi antena in order to get Connected to internet. At least is what i do with my batocera arcade
I don't know if anyone is familiar with the arcade game joust back from the 80s, but I've spent months coding the game and making it as close to the original a possible, but wondered if anyone would like to beta test It?
Im having the same issue. However you can plug in a PS4 controller into the USB. hit settings button or "cfg" button. Go to key settings. Hit the right button on the controller twice....so it reads "controller 3". Now you have 3. You can also make that controller #4. So essentially 1,2, or 3 or 4 but not all 4. Ive only been able to make 1 controller work as the third or forth player. Basically only 1 controller and 2 arcade sticks. I have read that if you buy a "usb hub" you can then plug that in and it can become a 4 player board.
The video starts out saying that this was the most powerful new device with new features. You follow that up by referencing features that have been available for months.
I have the WiFi one and I didn't notice any new games that you can download......if you can get snowboard kids for N64 that would be cool....and I wish you can take off the timer for SF2
