Just be careful which one you grab, there are a few different ones about from different sellers.

Honestly there isn't really much difference between the special and the original DX if they are the ones being manufactured today. You can install Pandory Tool on all of these 3A boards so adding, removing and fixing games won't be a problem. It also fixes a lot of issues with the board that 3A haven't fixed. Personally out of the 3 different ones I would go for the DX Special if the price difference is nominal between the models. The DX won't play the PSP and some other games though that the EX will, Team Pandory have done a great video on their RU-vid channel on how well these run so you may want to check that out. I think it's called EX game test or something similar.

Well they should by all accounts be on sale very soon.

Since all these games are played offline it won't make a difference. Also the DX and DX Special don't have any Internet connections on them at all.

Yeah, it really does seem strange that they are releasing this when they are also working on an update for the EX. It's not really much of an upgrade either. Still if you don't fancy the EX and your DX has crapped out then it maybe worth getting this over the standard DX version, especially if you plan on installing the excellent Pandory Tool.

@@siddhantupadhyay4392 It all depends on, the DX Special has a lot more older console games on it like nes, snes and megadrive. Whilst the Ex can play some PSP games, N64 and Dreamcast but struggles with some of them. Both can run Pandory Tool though, so I would look at the games list for each, see which has the most that you want to play and go for that. The new Pandory Tool though adds even more systems, so I would have a look at that first on the Team Pandory youtube channel. Sorry if that's not the definitive answer that you may have wanted, I hope I helped a bit though.
