Thank you so much for creating and posting this video. In the past few months I have helped four or five people who have bought this board, and having the tell them it is utter crap is a terrible feeling. I was told the seller who is located in this group, would no longer be pushing this board but just last night another one popped up. This community should be about wanting each other to grow, sellers like this put a big scratch in whatever we have freshly painted. Again if anyone needs help finding a pandora, my inbox is always open. In 5 or 10 minutes we can really narrow it down to two or three Pandora boxes that will be as close to ideal for you as possible. Thank you again for posting this video. I not only 100% agree with it, but I 100% stand behind it as well with you. This seller has to go.

I would love help finding the right box! I wound up with one of these L01, and thinking it's not going to be the one for me! Where do I find a good one? It's hard to tell on ebay/Amazon, I'm looking for something simple like this without the whole cabinet ordeal $$.

Hey this has been very informative, thank you! In fact, I was looking at this very board recently and found your review of it. Thank God as it was beyond bad!!! Sadly, I don't think that behaviour from the seller is specific to Leon, for similar interactions with quite a lot of Aliexpress sellers, they don't seem to behave in the best interest of their customers in general :(
Yeah, it really isn't that great. It's unfortunate that sellers do this kinda of thing. All it does is make people think twice about using them. Hopefully they will hold their hands up and apologise for lying and we can all move on. (Switching the board out for a better one or fixing the issues before selling it to anyone else would be a better option as well). I do know a lot of people have had a positive experience buying from Leon, and I do feel bad for calling them out on this. I also feel worse for all their customers however who have ended up with this board that they don't sell.
Great Job done , i know little bit that how these chinese companies cheat data and make a fresh, UI and try to sell old things in a new package, in fact ,Leon Arcade is like front end UI whereas the background emulator is a different company and i know about both of them . In fact ,this Austar is the same company who made this PB 3D+ but now Austar L-01 is nothing but a faction of this company buying the hardware from the original company of PB3D+ and making their own UI and playing around with the game list and trying to make their own dream game list which is denting their value in the market. As per our experience, Pandora's game market has reached to saturation and the copy companies running short of the new ideas to market their product and waiting for 3A(original maker of pandora box game pcb) to launch their new version so that they can copy and implement their ideas.
Thanks for the feedback Dynamic. :) It is truly a shame that they do things like this, I have spoken with 3A in the past around the time of the Pandora Saga DX Plus being released which is essentially just a clone of the DX special. Which has been reskinned again as the RRTV 30s. (only just a different badge, it just uses the same background image on the menu screen). The problem is that there doesn't seem to be any real advancements in the Pandora market, 3A tried with the EX but unfortunately, it fell kind of flat. (At least they tried though, hopefully, they will give it another revision) Ideally, we need to see someone step up and make a box more powerful that can run more arcade games and fix a couple of the issues. Pandory Tool (by @teampandory) shows that these boxes can have issues fixed and run better. Just imagine what a more powerful box can actually run!
@@PandoryMagazine Thanks for the reply , All these Pandora box game pcb manufactures or cloners are now gearing up for the new version. 3A is now to set to release new version of PB Ex as you are aware that they had been better than others .PB3D's team was recently got set back as one their core software engineer who had mastered the PPSSPP emulator has left the team and their new team has to start off from the scratch so they failed to release new version whereas their subsidiary faction releasing these craps . my own personal expectation that they will make the hardware more powerful in order to run more emulators like PS2,PS3 etc . I personally appreciate the Pandory tool which can help users to configure certain settings which these PB platforms don't enable. I had made a proposal before to both sides that these settings can be forwarded to these manufactures so that it becomes standard for forthcoming versions but i guess neither Pandory team is interested nor these manufactures. anyways ,let c , how it evolves further.
@@dynamicamusement247 Hopefully we will see more powerful boxes in the future. Someone is missing a trick though and instead of adding more emulators could actually streamline the games and get rid of a lot of the duplicates, and add a lot of the missing arcade games that are out there. Not many people want to play some obscure famicom rpg clone in Chinese that they can't understand if they live in Europe or America. I do know that Team Pandory did contact people before about them using Pandory Tool on boxes, but they didn't get taken up on the offer which is a shame. One thing is for sure, the market has stalled a bit recently for Pandora boxes, hopefully, 3A or someone else can kick it off and get the whole thing exciting again. There are a whole bunch of things the community would like to see, it just seems a shame that none of the manufacturers actually ask so we can help improve their products. The better the product, the better the sales. The sellers win, and the consumers win. Seems like a no-brainer. :)
@@PandoryMagazine I loved your reply esp those last lines " the better the product the better the sales and the sellers n consumers win win " , this is same perception i carry but unfortunately Chinese wants to drive their cars on their "highway" rather than "ourway" . @@dynamicamusement247 thank you :) Unfortunately, the highway isn't the best way to travel. Hopefully, they will realise that sometimes the scenic route makes a nice change, rather than rush and speed, sometimes you have to take a step back and look at the landscape to truly see it for what it is. I will pass on your thanks to @TeamPandory, those guys do a great job. I am not part of that group, they did however steal my name for their tool with some sneaky time travel shenanigans. We are friends though and they do host the Magazine for me and we have helped each other with stuff in the past. :)
