Panel on the Future of DTM and Insurance - DTM Results Event Presentation 

The MRR Innovation Lab hosted an event in October, 2019 in Washington, DC to share results of a project pairing CIMMYT drought-tolerant maize with index insurance in Mozambique and Tanzania.
This panel discussion on the future of this project and the potential for scaling the bundle of drought-tolerant maize and insurance was moderated by MRR Innovation Lab Director and the project's Lead Investigator Michael Carter. It included Greg Collins, Deputy Assistant Administrator and Resilience Coordinator at USAID, Ghada Elabed, Economist at the World Bank, Jerry Glover, Senior Sustainable Agriculture Advisor at USAID, and Samuel Ssenyimba, Program Officer at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
