There was a brief moment when black was winning. I immediately spotted it but under time pressure black did not. He could play nxh6, revealing an attack on the white rook on g7 by the black king on f8 and simultaneously attacking pawn on f5 with the knight. This would have won the game on the spot, but it's difficult to spot mistakes under such pressure. Great job by both players
He has been playing chess for 20 years in China and beat in unrated tournaments a lot of people so he has experience, now he is playing in rated FIDE tournaments
@@JojouriModeongThis guy beat two 2400 rating Chinese IMs(Yankai Li, Yuanhe Zhao) and lost to a GM(Xu Yi) in a unrated tournament(it is like collegiate chess league in China) several years ago, I believe in that his level is at least 2300.
In that tournament, Pang played against IM Yankai Li three times, one in group stage and two in semifinal, and he got 2 win and 1 draw against IM Li, which is convincing enough.
This is the fun of joker board, any unrated player can join every team has a equal chance just find the right one, mgd1 has mihir who once almost draw with arvindh chidambaram (2700elo) , every team has some secret weapons some relies on the top some equally distributed it's not cheating
