Glad the video was helpful! It is really complicated, seems almost like Panini should be making their own videos to make sure everyone is clear about the messiness.

@XYouVandal it's inconsistent. Some colors do seem to more often be a bit more popular though, so may occasionally go for more. Sometimes it seems like hobby box parallels sometimes do a bit better than retail box parallels too. But it's all inconsistent. I haven't noticed red specifically, but I've definitely seen gold /10 or something like tie-dye /25 or cherry blossom /20 go for more than green /5. It's just about what look people like, more demand means higher sales price.

Looks like Gold Vinyl is just in football, not basketball. At least for now. There are quite a few in football that aren't in basketball it seems... those white knights are weird.

I'm not actually fully sure if silver or green is easier to find. I haven't opened up enough packs to know. Gold is MUCH more rare. I suspect green might be more common. For Fearless inserts, as far as I can tell last year there were 6 parallels, 3 numbered and 3 unnumbered, but I'm not sure about this year. Generally though, unless its some super rare unnumbered parallel, all the unnumbered parallels seem to end up getting treated the same as far as value. There may be some slightly more rare, some slightly less, but they all kinda get lumped together in the end. Besides maybe silver or a color match here and there or something.

The fearless green wave and cracked red ice are both un-numbered but really nice cards and now I got all three including the base fearless. Make a nice set to eBay once graded. Oh man, I really don't know the answer to that question. I actually don't buy a whole lot of sealed wax myself, tend to just aim for singles. It seems the general knowledge spread is to aim for hobby instead of retail, in general, if you are going to rip wax, but I really don't know for sure. When I open packs, it tends to be blaster boxes, but that's just because I rarely open them and just do it occasionally for a fun experience with no expectation for getting much monetary value out of it type of thing.

I don't have any strong thoughts on fat packs, I do think there tends to be a lot of base cards in there, which isn't necessarily what I'm looking for. Prizm in generall this year, I'm not too keen on for packs. In both basketball and football, so many of the best young rookies have exclusive autograph contracts with Fanatics, so they can't be found in Panini products. To me, that brings down the ceiling of those packs by a really significant amount. And I'm not such a fan of parallels, so it makes it hard to be excited about much of anything in there.

I think you are probably talking about the Black and White Checker Prizms and/or the Back and Red Checker Prizms which are in Prizm football. I think they are pretty readily available in some of the retail products. Another one of the many pretty common unnumbered parallels. They aren't in basketball though.

@@scoa thanks for replying. But I actually have 2023 Donovan Mitchell gold checkered prizm mezzanine #363 3/10 pulled from select. How much would that be sir?

@@roberttuncap ah, I see. The closest comp I can find in a quick look would be the select gold shimmer mezzanine /10 of Donovan Mitchell which sold on May 16th for $36.

Yeah, I probably should make a video like this for NFL at some point. A number of people have asked me to. I just haven't gotten around to it, since football just never crosses my mind.

I haven't heard any specific reliable estimates. I've seen some people on reddit guess like 200-500 print run per card, but don't know the logic that cam to that number. I've heard they are supposed to be quite rare, but I don't know what that means. Panini doesn't share either.

@Kitchen33318 yeah, it's hard to know. And I think panini likes to keep it ambiguous if they can. Helps their sales. I think the only way to really know is after some time passes and then comparing it's psa pop counts to other parallels.
