This is the national anthem of the Pannonian Rusyn minority that lives in Vojvodina Serbia and in Eastern Croatia. Lyrics in the pinned comment. This video has been made so diasporans can easily find it.

@@cflhighlights9370 i dont speak rusyn, i speak slovak but our languages are very similar and i tried to translate it. there might be few errors. here you go: On the plain of Bačka Where there are endless fields I write to you a song My ancient people Brothers Rusyns, On a plain we live But we are from the mountains A flower transplanted (?). Mountains of the Carpathians Our homeland, Greet us, greet, Our close family, Let's sing, brothers, From the Bačka plain To the Transcarpathian Mountains To our glorious motherland, Brother Rusyns, Our small nation Has all across the world Scattered her sons. From a faraway land With a song we send you A brotherly greeting.
Thank you for this video. We travel through the Vojvodina (Subotica, Backa Topola) each year when we go to Bulgaria by car and we always wondered why the town and village names were written in three variants....I did not know that the Rusyns lived there too. Will definitely try to find out more when we are there this summer. Cheers and godspeed
Yes in some cities or villages there're multilingual signs depending on the minority (in Serbia) that lives in that place. But for Subotica and Bačka Topola it's not written in Rusinski (Rusyn) but in Serbian and Hungarian. For SUBOTICA for example it's: СУБОТИЦА = 🇷🇸 Cyrillic SUBOTICA = 🇷🇸 Latin SZABADKA = 🇭🇺 hun And same with: Бачка Топола Bačka Topola Topolya But for: Руски Крстур Ruski Krstur Руски Керестур = (Ruski Kerestur) Rusyn language I grew up in КУЛА (KULA), which is the main municipality and Krstur is within it's area Greetings 😊
