Excellent video...thank you for your clear, concise, and straight-forward explanation of the process for finding the lens nodal point!

Very nice video !!!! This is the most simple and the easiest way I have seen yet. "Thank you very much and take care", Jim, Charlotte, NC. PS I have just ordered the Nodal Ninja Ultimate M1-L with RD 16 11 Rotator Panoramic Head from B&H Photo in NYC. It should be here Friday 15,2020. Today is Wed. 13, 2020. I can wait to check it out !!!!!

Thank you... i dont have your complete orbital set up.. i just take 360 degree horizontal panoramas, and wasnt sure how to find the nodal point on a new camera.. now i do... and that makes a hell of a difference..

Thank You So Much, Very Nice and clear to understand what you have said. Other people makes it very confusing on how to find the Nodal point. But you have made it very clear. Thanks Again for this great tutorial.

There's usually a little symbol on the body of the camera to indicate where the sensor plane is. It looks like a circle with a line through it.

This shows you how to do a single row, but does the "nodal" point change when you move the camera on the vertical plane (to do another row)

easier way to set: align the two tripods with the camera, rotate the camera, then you see it is off. Now Start moving your camera forward/backward on the head until the two tripods are aligned again.

Very useful video great. I was wondering is there an equation to determine the minumum distance of the first vertical object? Or is this not important? And does it matter how far the verticale points are from each other?

@snifnscratch If you follow the video you will that for extra rows the camera is rotated around the nodal/no parallax point in both axes.

This is called the "entrance pupil," rather than the nodal point. It's a common error. The alignment principle remains the same, however.
