@@SPGRAMPA1 You're lucky, that was a different leg of the tour when Slayer jumped on with Static X. I had to see stupid Soulfly, and Nothingface lol I hate Soulfly but luckily they played a lot of Sepultura during their set. Nothingface was the first band up and the venue still had the house lights on. Nobody was paying attention cause they sucked as well, but Morbid Angel saved the opening show \m/ and PanterA made it forever memorable \m/

I really wished they could've reunited one more time but Dime was taken too soon and Vinny stuck to his word of never speaking to Phil again, it's really see how sad this mighty band just crumble to ash

i saw them in 94-95? in far beyond driven.. what tour was the one where phil was such a mess? he was unreal for the show i saw - energy was super high.
98 was the start of his back issues/opium addiction. It got progressively worse from there. There's definitely been plenty of instances of him being drunk/out of it but generally he brought it every night.
