The tone. The accuracy. The FUN you're having, playing it. Easily you are the most superior Dimebag cover guy out there. I have never seen tab or anyone else play it so that it sounds EXACTLY as it does in the original, until your video today haha :D Simply amazing !
I remember finding my aunt's vinyl records of Pantera-Far Beyond Driven, Testament-Low, Rollins Band-Weight, Melvins-Stoner Witch, Soundgarden-Superunknown, Helmet-Betty, Sepultura-Chaos A.D. and Biohazard-State of the World Address Christmas 1994. I was 10 at the time and this album changed my life.🤘💪😈
I was introduced to first Sepu's Chaos, and than approx a year later my Dad, who owns record store, gave me 101 Proof, and that changed my life forever!:)) Of course Chaos is also way up on my list of all-time favs;)
Fuckin' wow! This is one of the more difficult Pantera tunes there is, and you nailed it perfectly! People responding to this can say it isn't, but i also play guitar, and can play this tune. Took me three weeks to learn. The slides were what gave me problems the most when i first learned it.
How do you do the intro riff to slaughtered? It sounds so weird to powerchord slide from 1/3 to 3/5 on the A string. I can't figure out how to sound on point hitting the same notes/chords
I never got past the bridge riffs. I imagine with some work I could have, but I did find it worth it at the time. Now that I do not play in a band or write music anymore, it might be.
Can you please teach some old Pantera we will meet again and some damageplan only videos of the plan is from the man himself absolutely love the channel will support it to the fullest
Thanks Jeremy! Planning to do some Damageplan, and maaaaybe something from the early era of PanterA. Honestly there's just simply tooo much great stuff from the era which I truly love :))
Idk how I never noticed but I can really hear the influence Pantera had on Revocation (particularly Davidson). I just noticed that watching you play it. Not that you have anything to do with that band lol.
Attila! Nice work man as usual! That riff is insanly fast hahahaha. I have a question, do you think at 3:30 Dime does a different slide from the usual 5th fret to the 1st fret to a 5th fret to 4th fret (refence from the low E, as a fifth chord). I´ve heard the song with a 15% slower tempo and realised that he does something different. Do you agree?
I just met a dude who knows zakk I guess pretty cool small world out there I listen to ur covers sometimes before I practice man do a freestyle solo where you just go off the walls and abuse the whammy bar
How do you do the intro riff to slaughtered? It sounds so weird to powerchord slide from 1/3 to 3/5 on the A string. I can't figure out what you're doing different to sound like the song.
@@AttilaVorosOfficial thanks for such a quick reply man, I will try that out tonight and keep practicing! Do you hit that slide with a down stroke or an upstroke as well? Would it help if I tuned down for e standard to D standard maybe?
Attila was going about his usual daily Dime worship atop Dime mountain at the end of Dime Street. It was storming and the lightning was absolutely wild. When Attila reached the Crescendo of a rippin solo, thunder and lightning split the night in half and this guitar descended from the sky, bathed the holy light of Dime. Suddenly you could hear him, as if from a distance saying, "Its like pre-heat you gotta set it up to blow it up dude I'm already preblown." and then he was gone, and Attila was left standing with this guitar.
So you got rid of the Sustainiac?! And it looks like you replaced the Apocalypse in the bridge. You replaced them with EMGs? Interesting since Dime played passives (Bill Lawrence).
Yep, it is an E1 FR-S with a custom paintjob. Here's an unboxing video of it with more details: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c0D_jRefV18.html
