I like screenshots of the decks at the start of the video. It tells you what each player has avaliable and allows the viewer to understand their decisions in the replay.

I purposefully clicked on this video with the intent to watch all the way to the end. Don't think it matters how you start your vids for us "regulars" to your channel, we know what we want and get from it. Thank you for the quality content as usual!

AP listen! I watch almost every 1v1 to the end and I enjoy the commentary at the start. I'm a podcaster myself in a totally different genre but we always go at least an hour (theology/philosophy). I appreciate your depth and production value. No slight against others but I can only watch you and Vulcan. Stay true to your instincts!

Since you asked: drop the "Vulcan opening" where u name every unit; It goes right by me, and i often skip ahead. Describing unusual units is fine, but for the most part i neither care, nor need to know, how many Rifles are on the top side of the map. (and it'll save u a bunch o' time & talking) Instead highlight the units at the beginning when the match jumps off and let me see their orders, thats cool...seeing how good players deploy. Discussing the map & how the divisions will play on it is Always good imo, as is how the Divisions matchup. (These are important for new and intermediate players, and you have excellent insight into both.) Hope this helps. I'm sure some of people leaving after a few seconds of the video went in just to look at the battlegroups. Not sure how I feel about skipping the early part - I'm 50/50 on it. I would appreciate a discussion on the battlegroups with those still up on screen tho.

If you can keep the beginning discussion but provide a timecode for people to skip to to get stright into the action i think that would benefit everyone

love the vid. definitely liked the screenshots of the decks, and i like to keep the discussions more at the end of the match rather than the preambles but otherwise keep it up

Hey Atkpower the difference between the m20 armoured car with the 50. cal and the support 50. cal squad is the range th support one has 1250m and the armoured car obly has 750m. And keep up the great work love the videos👍🏻

2ID always being banned makes it a pain to try and see how pros play the division. Luckily 3rd Armored squeezes through enough that I can get a decent idea of what to do. 12th is also my first Axis division pick, so great to see it. Everything in the division is strong, but *so* expensive. You can get overwhelmed really quick.

Ok, personal opinion time I feel like german Pioneer squads don't need MGs. They honestly need another smg. Is the mg useful at long range: yes...ish, depending on what Pioneer is shooting(ie anything other than the normal Pioneer is pretty much aways a upgrade) Can it help in its job: eh...in my experience not really. If you force a squad to fall back out of cover it can do pretty solid chunk damage. Another MP-40/ another smg would be nice though Sorry for the opinion rant, love the videos:)

I think autoplay is the thing you are forgetting about for people skipping out early. They watched something short of yours like a guide or tutorial and then back out when they see a 50 mn video.

Not sure if data distinguishes, but I often open a video as I’m waiting for a game to load in lobby. With full intent to eventually watch the whole thing but just because, I often start video and then exit instead of pausing to return, force of habit swiping windows closed. I like both ways just fine. I do like the discussion. Appreciate the content

I'm one of those viewers who will often bail on an SD2 replay in the first minute or so, but that's almost always because I want to see which divisions are being used before spending however long watching the whole thing. Lots of replays, especially for high-level competitive matches, seem to be between a very limited range of divisions, which can get kinda repetitive after a while. Not sure if you don't include the division match-up in the title of each video for a particular reason, but if you did that might reduce the number of people clicking on the video and then only watching the first few seconds. Other than that, I'd actually prefer the deck screenshots/preamble etc. at the beginning of the video to be kept in. Only suggestions I would there is that you don't need to read out the name of all the units that have been deployed at the beginning of the match as you often do. More analysis of the deployment (what it looks like the player is planning to do, what trade-offs they've made etc.) would be better than just a rundown of what units each player has put on the board. Finally, if you're not sure whether to use the old format or this new accelerated version, simply timestamping the beginning of the match might give you the best of both worlds: preamble for people who are interested in it, but an easy way to skip to the start of the match for those who aren't. Just my $0.02.

I sometimes stop watching early on because I've watched it on another device. It doesn't mean that I don't want to see the decks before the game starts, I do.

Hi AtkPwr, I personally am for removing the intro part of the video. I appreciate your commentary, but to be frank I can see the map, division, income types and the units deployed myself, so its kinda a waste of time in my opinion. I always just find where the game begins and I skip to that part. Ofc I understand that some people might enjoy having the intro there, so I think the best solution might be just putting a timestamp so people like me can just effortlessly skip (I don't know if that would help with people not watching the full video though, but it would be a greatly appreciated quality of life improvement 😀) The rest of your video I always whatch in its entirety thanks to your captivating commentary no less. 🙂 I must say that I enjoy your videos immensely and it's one of the few thing I really look forward every day, so thank you for that.
