War Thunder T-V Russian Panther Tank vs. German Panther Tanks!
The T-V is a REALLY old event vehicle by this point. The T-V in War Thunder is a Captured German Panther that sits at BR 5.7! The only way to obtain this monster is by either winning it from a crate or by buying it on the Marketplace!
The Panther A is one of my favourite vehicles in War Thunder. I strongly believe it's one of the best Medium Tanks in War Thunder pound for pound at its battle rating. The fact this Panther doesn't face Russian Guns (Yes, I kept saying German...) makes it even better. No silly overmatching, no 122mm just German cannons that are unlikely to cause harm!
The T-V Premium is a really nice vehicle to have and at 5.7 it has a SUPER strong lineup, too!

Artillery Challenge: Shoot indirect fire with a self-propelled howitzer. Maybe use a teammate with a lazer range finder and to act as a spotter. Like so he can see it please. I got this idea from another comment @K G

U should try playing 3.3 Germany it’s fucking insane how strong that be is. Pz 4 f2 and g plus puma plus stug or laser it’s insane. I’d say I’m just a tiny bit above average player but I was still getting like 2-5 kills at least each game

Holy crap! So it was really you in that Sun City game. Me and my friends were on that game goofing around until we realized the guy top scoring and getting 10 kills with the T-V was actually you! Makes me wanna see the British get some of the captured German tanks they got. Panther cuckoo and deserter were both unique vehicles that were operated in combat by the brits for a time so they'd be the obvious choices but Tiger 2p + tiger 131 (and hell E-100 as a special 2nd run of that) would also be applicable

They can’t use the 131 because world of tanks has it in their game and Bovington tank museum is sponsored by world of tanks, and they don’t want it in any other game, especially not wt. but the cuckoo and deserter would be really cool to have, it could be sold like panther dauphine, a few times every year.

Simply the best Panther in the game, because you are facing German most of the time and they have no idea how to counter their own tank and also because the Russian 5.7 line up is huuuuuuge

Fun fact about this vehicle's real world counterpart: while most panthers suffered breakdowns after 100 to 200 km, the T-V command tank was driven over 600 km into germany before it suffered a breakdown the soviets couldnt repair (aka it caught fire while the final drive somehow remained functional).

From what I read in British testing reports on a pair of captured panthers constantly broke down so mobility testing. One of them caught fire and during a mobility test and exploded and the other they just gave up on when it kept breaking down.

That's because the T-V is based on the Panther G which had already fixes most of the breakdown issues found on the earlier Panther's.

Fun fact about all early version tanks of ww2. They all had extensive problems that had to be solved. The reason Germany had so many problems with their tanks late in the war was well because they were being bombed from all sides and were incapable of fueling up trucks on sovereign soil to bring replacement parts.

Pro tip: When checking to see if a tank is alive use the mg and shoot the tracks. Usually the first hit will give you a hit marker and the tiny burst won't give your position away because you didn't fire a tracer round.

At 6:02 you asked "where does that grenade pop out from". Interestingly, it comes out of the roof of the turret. The reason is the panther didn't have smoke launchers, so the crew would literally have to yeet smoke grenades out of their hatches.

No, it’s a grenade launcher (IRL it is a high-explosive grenades for anti-infantry), which can be loaded with some smoke grenades Basically you should consider the fact that your brain is made of kool-aid before commenting a “historical” fact

the panther A is an op tank at 5.7, you dont have many non heavies you need to aim against at your br, for the guns you face, your are a heavy tank, but can keep up with shermans, even 6.3 mediums still struggle to pen you, you just cant really play wrong with this tank if you think

There’s a difference between spawn camping and map control. If the enemy has capture zones and you’re sitting by their spawn, it’s camping. If your team has the zones and the front line has pushed to their spawn, it’s map control. The game is pretty much over at that point.

It would be fair, and pretty neat if US could get Ragtag Circus and other captured vehicles in their tree as premiums/Event Vehicles. Considering everyone has a sherman and US doesnt have a single captured ground vehicle while both Russia and Germany (Especially germany since they can make basically a full lineup of just russian vehicles) have a whole bunch of them.

M18 gang still equal, Jumbo 75 gang still sits in same BR, we will not talk about the Sherman VC because Italy has better version of it(M4A1+17 pounder, not the usual M4A4 with 17 pounder), so it jumps to 5.0 in Italy tree is understandable. Edit: even the T-V still sits with normal Panther in its own BR.

I wonder they will add a panther premium to the UK tech tree since the 4th Coldstreams Guards armored battalion used 'Cuckoo in the Netherlands and in Italy the Panther tank 'Deserter' used by 21st Tank brigade (145th Royal armoured Corp) which was captured by Canadian troops

I was watching the video and one intresting challenge come up in my mind. Can you manige to finish the game with British FV4005 BUT you have to start the mission with 0 ammo,so you have to go to some ( A,B,C ) load 5 rounds ammo and kill 5 enemies. Btw the video was awesome like allways !!

I want this tank so bad but there's no way for console players to get it. Fun fact about the side skirts: Most crews took them off anyway (especially in the spring) because they trapped mud and got tore up. Most of the authentic pictures you can find of the Panther have the skirts removed. Their only purpose was the make AT rifle rounds lose energy before they hit the hull.

Yes, it seems to me that he likes to win and kill enemies. That's how it is done. you can have a face-to-face fight but it's pretty boring and static.

There is a huge difference between spawn camping and spawn pushing. On both matches I drive to kill opponents I see. Just because they are camping just outside their spawn doesn’t mean I won’t push them to kill them. Then I immediately back off after they’re all dead. Then at the end of the match, there is SPAA not moving and our team has already won. At this point, it’s spawn pushing. There is no where else left to go except wait until the enemy just drives in front of me and I’ll kill them anyway. At least with spawn protection they have a chance.

When you play war thunder practically every day it's easy to get quite tilted by all the stupid shit that ends up happening to you. If you've played for the events, I imagine it's a similar feeling for them. Except it never ends.

tbh Gaijin should have added the Panther G which was captured by the Polish resistance during the Warsaw uprising and was painted with polish roundels, not a random captured Panther A
