Just shoot it in the mantlet right next to the cannon barrel, 76 sherman goes right through aslong as he's looking at you, if he's not looking at you sneak it into the gap between the mantlet and the edge of the turret
I can’t get it to work for me. I can only play it as a tank destroyer, but it’s just a worse version of the jagdpanther that way. It doesn’t have enough reactive mobility to compete with medium tanks, and the turret rotation has no point because you have to face frontal armor towards the enemy anyway

Awesome skin on that Panther A, I got that one off the market a good while back. My favourite German tank tier for tier I think. Honestly, it feels overpowered as hell for 5.7. Even more so with botched volumetric shells interacting with that extra track armour. It would still absolutely rock at 6.0, moving the T-34-85 down to 5.3 would just be utterly bonkers considering how good the Soviets already are at lower BR's. Honestly I thought the Panther D did absolutely fine at 5.7. The Erzatz M10 and TV should go to 6.0 also, being A model Panthers. I think that's the only reason Gaijin lowered it in the first place tbh. As always, awesome content Odd. Keep on keeping on!

T-34-85s are easy penetrations for anything at it’s BR and most tanks in a full down BR. It only has the same 45mm front plate as the T-34 giving it about 80mm effective armor if i remember right :/

Hello odd,iv been watching since you first started vids on RU-vid as I lost my job due to the covid,and you bring some well needed laughter to a other wise gloomy day. Keep up the great work my friend.
The Panther A is one of my favorite vehicles in this game. I even have the same fantastic Ingrid skin for her. I fell in love when I used the Panther A with talisman, the Tiger E with talisman, the VFW and the JU-288 to grind out the Maus, Panther 2, King Tiger 10.5 and flakpanzer 341 before they were removed. I later got the DO-335 B2 and have had a blast with that lineup. Even though I’m nearing the top of both British and German top tier, I still love to come back and play out Germany 5.7. As you said Odd, it just makes me happy. Same goes for both British and German 6.7. The Caernarvon and King Tiger Sla. 16 are long time favorites for me.
I don't play War Thunder, but I absolutely love watching you play. Thank you for all of the hard work, and for your great sportsmanship and attitude. Everyone could take a note or two from your play style.

Its crazy the angles rounds can go through the Jumbos lower side plate between the tracks, literally do not angle with it more then 10 degrees, and only wiggle the hull if they are trying to get your MG port as more often then not the wiggling will let someone else slip a shell into your side
Damn....i was exicted for the is2. First match. I shoot at a panthers turret and volumetric eats it up..........i could almost hear the german laughs from the crew as they tore my mantlet in half lol

Nice one Oddz - panther frolicking through the flowers! concur so many vehicles BRs are now so wrong after volumetric shells. Increasing BRs for heavies and well armoured mediums like the panther will banish all heavies to upper tiers... into the MBT space ... there will be a lot of pain and suffering I fear even after Gaijin introduce the first BR changes.
