Ok I have to admit, after taking the plunge, this shoe (drunken wingtip) feels the nicest piece of leather I ever held in my hands. Incredible from the packaging to the shoe trees to even the note in it. The design did not appeal to me at first, when you published this but after going back and forth to the website I decided I didn't want another Adelaide and man I am so happy with my choice. I am usually an 11 F in UK sizes and often find my little toes rub and gets blisters until the leather stretches. I know you advise for the Art. 770 Adelaide Oxford to size down half a size, but do you think I should stay with size 11 to give me the width that i need?
This is a quite roomy last. F width is a wide width in shoes such as Crockett and Jones. You might be better of getting a UK 11 and adjusting with an insole if required.
Like the Adelaide a lot! I have a wider foot so that would suit me (UK 10 G)...the wing tip colour is nice: 'aubergine'?...all lovely. What am I looking at this 'shoe porn' for? I can't afford them :-( Still, very beautiful shoes. Tony
Hi Tony, it’s just a word play because they are “illegally beautiful” shoes. They are a G fit with a higher instep so 10 might fit you yes. The wingtip is deep burgundy.

Alberto, I appreciate your concern, it’s meant as a joke. I suppose you have never watched top gear. It was a recurring theme when Alfa Romeo cars were on the screen. The term shoe-porn has been around for years. Actions define how gentleman-like I am in life, not if I used a bad word.
