GODS yes my mother would of had a heart attack watching her cut up anything in this video. Still she has all her fingers and didn't cut herself even once. I think part of her secret is the fact that the knife edge is jagged from the way she "sharpens" them so it catches a lot as it cuts.

You could tell that she grew up doing it that way and is very used to doing it that way. You are so fortunate to have this kind of interaction with you grand mother and to learn from her.

wow i'm going to try it this way .... i always cook the chorizo and the papas apart then i mix them together once the papas are cook... but i'm going to try it this way ... love you guys ... you guys make me miss my mom soooo much they way you guys talk...
a mi esposo le facina este platillo. yo primero ago las papas y en un sarten aparte doro el chorizo luego se lo echo arriba de las papas lo revuelvo bien y lo dejo cosinarse otro ratito. todos los platillos de la abuela se ven esquisotos. extraño a mi abuelita pero al ver estos videos me ase sentir que mi abuela esta serca. muchos saludos y que Dios los bendiga siempre. un fuerte abrazo!! no me quieren adoptar a mi tambien?? jeje.

I miss my Abuela so much she helped raise me and my brother she passed away a few years ago My brother and I stayed with her so my mom could work our father was killed shot when he was 24 and my mother was 19 and had my brother was 2 and I was 6 months so family means the world to us so love her give her kisses everyday!!!

Love Love Love your grandma, you both make wonderful videos. I was looking for different ways of making tamales. I use to make them with my mom, i miss her so much, i still make them for Christmas. I watch your beautiful grandma make red sauce for tamales, but i forgot to bookmark it, now i can not find it, please put it on again. Your grandma reminds me of my grandma too, she also was a good cook. You are so blessed to still have your grandma.

That is so funny. That is how I am when that darn chorizo is popping. I back up and go "Aahhh, Aaahhh" LOL I still can't get used to it but love some Chorizo con papas y frijoles refritos con tortillas de harina. Yummy!!
