She thinks everyone know how to make these things but I didn't have a mother or grandmother to teach me to make even the easy stuff. Tell her she's my abuela too now.

2022 in the house, your Abuela was dope! gonna cook mine tonight. My brother was stationed up close to the Bay Area in the 90s and I would take buddies with me for the drive from SoCal and I would always detour out to Modesto to visit my Grama and she would hook us up the Carne con Chile, beans, and handmade tortillas. My buddies would always hug her and say "BYE GRAMA!" when it was time to leave.. I would give any limb or all that I have today to sit 1 more time with my Abuelita and have a plate she made. However, her recipes come from her heart and is based on her experiences both as a beautiful little girl, refined and practices as a wife and mother and now graciously shared as a grandmother!

coincidence? don't know... but, I was looking through you tube and this video showed up in my recommended.. I lost my beloved grandmother 2 months ago. I've hard a very hard time coping with her loss.
