Seriously I'am from Bangladesh and as a matter of English language i'am not much qualified to understand English like Paperboy basically i mean to say that Paperboy Mother tongue is English so he can understand the meaning more than I do and when he started to read the verse on 13:18 I myself understood the meaning better than him the prayer does not mean prayer all the time so the word what he was trying to explain went against him May Allah guide Paperboy in the future Amin.

Assalamu alaikum. The problem with them(paperboy and friends likewise), they became ignorant is because they did not want do a thorough/careful research about the verses that they extract/quote from the Qur'an. Being adult, its a shame they(paperboy n friends) being so naive as they fail to understand that in the Qur'an each word has a synonym or different meaning/translation to suit every sentences. Likewise for every languages. Because of their(Kafir) ignorant, they often misintrepreted the Arabic word in the Qur'an. It is sad to see their(Kafir) learning/understanding so limited like small children.
Just ask them what is the difference between "Praying to" and "Praying on". And leave them alone to find out. We simply Praying to Allah SWT and Praying on Mohamed PBUH.
