how about we don't stereotype people based on their favorite paper mario game i'm a TTYD fan and i think color splash looks great

I'm a super paper Mario fan, TTYD fan, Nintendo fan, Sony fan, and pc fan and I think this game is not a real paper Mario game looks like an improved sticker star. Not saying it will suck but it's not going to be the level of the past games. Especially with all the generic characters and most likely generic story.

I gotta admit, despite my negative thoughts on Color Splash, I "sort of" did enjoy this mini-series.

I liked them quite a bit.

safety steve Well, it’s interesting, I remember liking the game after beating it, but as the years went on, and the more I look back on it, the negatives kinda were more apparent to me. There’s a lot I like about the game like the writing, graphics, and exploration to an extent. But without the Toad NPC in the garbage in the main hub, the puzzles for the boss fights are just as strict as Sticker Star, as in you won’t know what you’re supposed to bring into the bosses. And the fact that they’re Koopalings is pretty lame. It’s kinda just Sticker Star HD to me nowadays, to takes a lot of steps forward from Sticker Star, and some steps back that kinda hamper the experience. I don’t think it’s a baaaaad game necessarily, because there’s a lot to love in this game, but there’s a decent amount that taints the experience for me, it’s still much better than Sticker Star though. But now that Paper Mario The Origami King is out, that game is vastly superior to both Sticker Star and Color Splash, so I’d rather just play that. Edit: sorry the reply was so long, I just have quite a bit to say when it comes to this game

Bowser has only been the final boss of two paper Mario games. Three if you count Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam.

botmaster9000​ Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike Bowser as the final boss. I love the battle with Bowser in Super Mario Bros (Wii) It was pretty cool and creative THE FIRST TIME. But the idea of making him a giant is so overused right now. Just like him in Paper Mario: He gets a power that makes him very strong, he gets defeated, and then all of a sudden he is Nintendo's Godzilla again.

They made him go giant in all of the Yoshi's Island games (even the first one).

doesn't mean they can't eventually make one, but when they make games like color splash i doubt they have intentions to anyway i'm sure color splash will be fun to play and all but i still would've preferred a TTYD sequel

Super Paper Mario's fight mechanic wasn't that creative, yet that game was "great". If we're gonna play a game that's not like the first two, that's the best way to go.

Besides the meat of the gameplay, you mean? If a core mechanic is terrible, the game isn't going to be very far behind.

It's probably just a coincidence, but the Red paint goes with anger, Yellow is joy, Blue is sadness, and Green is calm (when Mario gets hit by them).

you will be a broken record then dude. Oh and f grinding PM64 gave you nothing for beating wear enemies while TTYD just gave you 1 Star point. At least in Color Splash you beat automatically weak enemies.

Chris Alamilla First Strike and Bump Attack badges allowed you to automatically defeat weak enemies and in TTYD, Amazee Dayzees are always worth Star Points until you max your level. So what's your point?

+Matt Roberge it"s faster to eliminate the enemy and amazee dayzee hunt is boring after the first hour. it comes from someone to went level 30 on TTYD
