I just realized while watching this that Paper Mario is one of the only franchises in Mario in which Toads and Goombas and Koopas and other Bowser enemies all live in peace.

I have the same problem. I usually go to the 3 dots when I hover over recommended videos and click Not interested. It sometimes works but sometimes it doesn't since RU-vid is weird.

***** I really just picked some of my favorite songs from the game. I had to narrow it down a bunch (since every song in the game is great), and I also tried to make sure I had songs from several different locations, so the background could show sort of a short, chronological "journey" through the game's areas.

This is pretty much everything that Paper Mario "Medley" content in Smash 4 should have been (along with The Thousand-Year Door and Super Paper Mario's). His Medley had so much potential, which they saw fit to waste with all of its shameless Sticker Star pandering. The amount of representation that game gets, despite the fact that 90% or more of the fandom despises it, just boggles my mind.

I love the two versions of Peach’s theme here! One was more reflective and the other more upbeat (when Peach was on the way to making that cake). I always have valued how reflective that theme causes me to be, but I value the upbeat tune you created as well!

Now this is a real Mario game. Paper Mario/Mario Story captured the pure essence of Mario and gave his world of the Mushroom Kingdom lore, history, depth, character, personality, charm, and made Bowser both a hilarious but also threatening and competent villain at the same time. This is how a Mario RPG game is supposed to be and I hope they come back to this world again someday. Or at least, another Mario RPG where it takes place in another setting like TTYD with Rogueport and Super Paper Mario with Flipside with everything I mentioned about Paper Mario: Lore, story, depth, wonderful characters, personality, charm and a new interesting villain.
