Never would I think I would see faceless toads and Mario dancing on a dance floor in a aincient temple that has been sealed in the ground for years for a hole puncher

I just realized in the ending, since she was made by Olly, her wish would kill her, which means she sacrificed herself to save everything.

I like how the scissors boss literally gives you an advantage by covering his blades. That is literally how a good fight is done; balanced and leveled.

I love how Colored Pencils come really close to getting Mario multiple times in the cutscene.

55:05-57:11 I love how the toads and Mario were dancing on the dance floor until the Hole Punch came in and ruined it, it’s one of my favorite scenes.

I love how Tape is the epitome of a New Yorker with the accent. At least the bosses are (at least for the major ones/streamer guardians) original, especially since they are real-life objects, and not just the Koopalings getting their stuff kicked into the curb, for the *n*th time.

I'm happy that Bowser was able to come around. He should be a good guy again in the next Mario game

"We're missing someone." This broke my heart. It instantly clicked. I've seen complete playthroughs of every paper mario game to date, and... Nothing in any of them made me as sad as that.

"You were better when you were a sidescroller.." Wow there! No need to break the 4th wall like that.

God damn the music in this game is awesome. Aside from that, I got something to say about the ending. While the ending mirrors the past... 2 games, I guess? (Not counting Super Paper Mario, even though yes, I know, Tippi left in the end), I guess this one actually does something right: Portray emotion through the partner we've grown accustomed to throughout the whole game by showing us that she cared for Olly. She wanted to see the good in him... but failed to. So we were forced to help Mario make Olly come to his senses. It is sad to see that they left... but I have a good feeling we'll be seeing her again someday. All that in saying: This is a good game, and while I was spoiled by the bosses being shown here, It only makes me want to play the game more.

My heart literally broke in half watching that ending. Poor origami bean didn't deserve to die... (very late) EDIT: i was talking about Olivia here, not Olly.

I just realized some of the bosses's names are a mixture of "Elemental" and Vellum, both known for being used as a writing material made from animal skin, and another word for parchment, tying into how they are paper/origami.

Regarding the Legion of Stationary: Personally, I find the fact that they are just objects to be a stroke of genius. First of all, tsukumogami are always fun when they show up. No ifs, ands, or buts about that. Second of all, it makes perfect sense for beings whose entire existence is papercraft to view things that alter paper as potentially dangerous. Thirdly, the stationary bosses rely on pareidolia as a gimmick. In regards to origami, this makes absolutely perfect sense. Origami is all about inducing pareidolia. When you fold a paper crane, obviously it is not an actual crane, nor could it ever pass for one. However, the shape of a paper crane suggests the anatomical landmarks of a bird, so our minds want see it as a bird. Likewise, a tin of colored pencils is a missle platform, a curled piece of tape becomes a pompadour (and the roll a motorcycle tire), and a stapler is the snapping jaws of a beast. So yeah. The Legion of Stationary are actually really well thought out.

Wait, the thousand cranes............. A girl, struck by radiation from the Hiroshima Bombing, made the thousand cranes. She was never able to finish them before she died, but her family finished what she started, making the last quarter of the thousand cranes. They also buried them along with her. Sometimes,wishes do come true. But you can try so hard to make that come true,only a crowd can do it for you, till their end.

These bosses were very challenging for me but very creative. Nintendo did a great job on them.

Those who have trouble beating King Olly, here are some tips: For phase 1, remember this: earth beats water, water beats fire, fire beats ice, and ice beats earth For phase 2, you can jump on the shruikins to destroy them but it’s tricky. When Olivia warns you that the Thwomp is about to fall, it’s recommended to move right away. For phase 3, focus on the red area first.

Going to give my opinions on all of those bosses based on my first experience : Earth Vellumental : Pretty easy, and pretty nice for a 1st boss. Colored Pencils : Cool enough, the gimmick is simple but hey ! That's the 2nd boss, i just find that the Rainbow Roll part is really not obvious :/ Water Vellumental : A bit too harsh imo, i can't really tell why however... Rubber Band : Easy, just way too easy, and his final attack is ... meh. Paper Macho Gooper Blooper : Easy but fun ! I wish the fight lasted longer. Mega Paper Macho Pokey : Better than the Blooper one in every way ! Fire Vellumental : Annoying, the fact that he regenerates himself at the last second is annoying. Hole Punch : In terme of the character himself, it's my favorite, but the bossfight himself, unlike many thoughts, is pretty forgettable. Ice Vellumental : A nice challenge, the maze wasn't too annoying (also unlike many thoughts). Tape : Also a nice boss ! But the 1st part was WAYYYYY too easy... Sumo Bro : Dang i hated that fight, especially i didn't knew it was a boss si i didn't saved... And right before there was this horrible maskass quiz (the worst of the three imo). Handaconda : Short, way too shirt, but I think it was a mini boss so i'll accept that. Paper Mistake Buzzy Beetle : Kamek is sticking too much at this macho monstruosity. And it's annoying when right after that you fight a boss that can one-shot you... It's still decent ! Scissors : Nice fight, I love how that last "object boss" can one-shot you ! But after that, the rest is ... yeah... easy. Paper Squadron : I do not consider that as a boss, but anyways, it was fun, ngl. Stapler : Very Simple, yet one of my favorites ! :) Olly Phase 1 : Buffed Vellumentals, not original, but still fun to fight ! Olly Phase 2 : More funny than anything, but it was decent. Olly Phase 3 : Epic, just wow. Please don't be in anger or anything, and tell me your thoughs about those awesome bosses :D

I love how all of the bosses (except for the vellumentals) don’t have mouths but are still able to somehow talk. I know, it’s a video game. It doesn’t have to make sense. Like, Mario goes into paintings and nobody questions it.

To all the people who are having a tough time with scissors, keep in mind he will keep his cover until at half of his hp (unless you attack the cover), before that, jump when the cover is down, and attack with a hammer when the cover is up

I like how all the major bosses are office supplies, plus I love how animated all of them are. They don’t act like static objects.
