Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door Remake Pre-Hooktail Pit Run 

I was stuck at Bonetail for four days. Died 12 times, but I managed to beat the crap out of her. I wish I just grabbed the goodies at L90 and ran away :/

If there's anything I learned from speedrunners and the like, it's that if there's a will, there's a way.

The old way of getting to Prologue Pit is blocked by a Flurry wall, so someone needs to find a new way

That's actually just a visual glitch from the emulator I was using. In game on Switch and GameCube they show up as intended!

This was on the most recent version of Ryujinx as of the time of posting

​@@camillafan1127I was getting ready to ask about the coloration of the save block and coins. Now I know. XD

The only thing that you need technically is the ability to go into paper mode so you can slip through the bars to actually get to the pit. Obtain paper mode from the chest and hooktails Castle. After that it's pretty easy to get to about the 20th floor of the pit where you can obtain fire Drive, and that will take care of most things in the pit for you no problem.

He probably just kept grinding. No matter what you always get at least one star point for every enemy you kill, and you only ever need 100 stars to level up so you could theoretically even grind to the max level in the prologue.

Did either of you even watch the video?

I entered the Pit at level 3 (one level in FP, and another in BP). The other 20 levels come from fighting enemies in the Pit
