I was shocked when I saw this guy in store : it looks so nice and well articulated. It’s basically a cheap alternative for a Hungarian Horntail or Rathalos figure !

I think if they just called it an “Articulated Dragon” it would mitigate a lot of people’s disappointment. Looks beautiful and seems sturdy though 👍

I know Papo has based quite a few of their dinosaur figures on Jurassic Park designs. Looking at this, I can't help but wonder if this is based on Rathalos from Monster Hunter. Similar coloration, a jaw with a beak at the tip, the tail having a sort of club with spikes. Just a thought.

I really like it. I may get it for my miniatures games, as it looks like it would scale well next to 28mm/32mm minis.

Hmmm....looks good despite the articulation limitations and also I dubbed this, "Titanus Raptros" after the old school PS2 game, War of the Monsters.

I have both. This one and sea dragon. They are a very nice detailed figures; cost and quality are well proportioned. They fit very nice with Hiya Godzilla. I have seen some pictures of King Dragon and looks great.

Seeing this makes me wish that Mega Bloks to redo their dragon egg toys but have them super posable and in one piece in the egg. I could see them making the joints all ball joints and make the dragons bigger than their older dragon egg toys.

A shame that the articulation isnt great, its a beautiful sculpt, im tempted to pick this up, just cause if how nice it looks, but i feel like the articulation is just a small bonus, not a main focus

I like the design and details, but the articulation needs a little more. Just a bit of extra mobility would do for the price point. Anything like the articulations on the Beast of the Mesozoic line would steep the price too much.

Hm definitely has some good potential to be nicely articulated figure may have to pop it apart and see if there’s a way to increase the range on some joints

Just Incase if I didn’t hear any infos About this, I think this Dragon resembles the Hungarian Horntail from the 4th Harry Potter Book & Movie “The Goblet of Fire”.

The aesthetics on this thing are excellent. I don't think those spikes aew meant to droop, because mine don't, abd neither do the promo shots

Im kinda shocked nobody has attempted to create the blue dragon from the cult hit Panzer Dragoon series from SEGA SATURN! As much as that series is loved worldwide, it would be a big seller if done right. Creature Preacher maybe?

Ce qui est drôle c’est que selui que j’ai eu il y a 1 ans est en bien meilleurs état que le vôtre avec une meilleurs peinture malheureusement le contrôle de calité de papo est un peu aléatoire en terme de peinture et un peu de sculpture même si j’aime énormément ce modèle de plus il assez petit et étant donné que ce dragon soit assez massif il logique que articulations soit un peu raide mais c’un début pour papo en même temps.

You can't compare a childs toy with a 150$ figure from BotM or Nanmu. I think, for their first figure it's not bad. I am happy, that papos sculpt quality is having a comeback. Their last figures were awful. Except the kronosaurus. That one was perfection.

@@hidicproductions4849 their Mosasaurus was quite nice as well. The Einiosaurus was decent as well.

@@andysdinosaurreviews On the pictures, the Mosa is nice, but in reality I find the paintjob lacks the fines of the promo. The Einiosaurus... I don't know. I wished, it would look more like the Pachyrhinosaurus or the Styracosaurus, with more detail. Papos figures became a little clunky since 2020. In comparison with the Ceratosaurus, the Cryolophosaurus or the Dimetrodon, the new figures fail. I was surprised, to see the old Papo quality in the Kronosaurus. Maybe the company gets better. I hope, they don't take the Schleich-route.
