Paracord flashlight wrap- pineapple knot 

I just wrapped my first handle with the help of your video. I cannot believe how amazing it came out by simply following your explanation. Amazing tutorial! I'm now addicted to paracord knotting. Thank you!

Yesssssss.....I finally understand pineapple knots. But the significant thing is that I can now indentify pairs and tie the knot w/o a run list. Progress indeed......Thanks Mark. P.S. Too big for my flashlight but I’ll find something else to decorate.

Is removing the "guts" of the cord required? Also, how do I lengthen this knot? Say, for a hiking stick grip.

I have a question Mark that has baffled me forever... How does one determine how large to make the base knot so it fits the object perfectly... So that it's not too short nor that it's not too long... I always had to rely upon trial n error... Which means I have to start over sometimes 3 or 4 times... And if you expand it to a 6 bight it's too long... Can you explain that process of determining how long to make the base knot... Thank you, Mark Kenn
