🐾 Buckle Sizes - A rough guide 🐾
XS dogs 10mm
S dogs 15-20mm (I use 20mm for small dogs)
M/L dogs 25mm
XL/Giant dogs 30mm
Which buckle you choose will depend on your dog and your preference. Poirot is a German Spitz Klein and I use 20mm, for my dad’s lab I used 25mm. Just make sure the d-ring is the same size and is welded or it may snap if your dog is strong.

Hi, cord is type 3 paracord which is 4mm, the cheat sheet will be inches as it doesn’t transfer as well in centimetres!

I believe I got these from beads unlimited, but I searched for shamballa-style beads and then the size I wanted. These are 10mm but I would try to get 8mm if you can as these are just a tad too big (for my liking anyway!)

Hi, is it possible to request a specific tutorial? I have a cobra braid dog leash that I would love to copy for my second dog, but the wrapping around the clip/clasp is something I have never seen before or been able to find a tutorial for. I would just need to send you a photo of it.

The cord in this video is 550 paracord which is 4mm. But you could use thinner cord if you are making smaller collars. I would recommend order a small sample of each size to get an idea of how thick each is

You can do it! Once you’re into the swing of things it becomes easier. Even now I still have to pause and think at the start 😂 but you’ll fly through it after some practise.

Hi, sorry for the delayed response! Of course I can, if you like I have another video that goes over both closures using shorter cord so you should be able to see better. Let me know if you need a clearer look though and I’ll try to make it better in my next videox

Hi, Mine are 10mm (3/8”), for this cord which is type 3 I wouldn’t go smaller than 6mm (1/4”) or there will be a gap. Hope this helps 🙂

I 💓 your doggie Paracord videos! Keep them coming!!! Like maybe using smaller cord for smaller dogs? The measurement of "1ft of cord per 1in of ..." Like in your Cobra Collar video! We like easy to figure out!!! Oh and dog leashes?!? All mine are 9lb-15lb if that helps because almost ALL Paracord videos about leashes and collars are always about bigger breeds!

Yes of course! Everything can be made with thinner cord and I believe measurements would be the same, when I’ve made cat collars I still used 1ft for every inch with my cobra and fishtail braids, but I can definitely do a small dog video with different materials

SO many people don't share that in the manner you do which makes it SO EASY for us! I've already made 2 collars using your info ... 3 more and 5 leashes to go! (I wanna make matching sets for each pup, so a video on a Cobra Leash would be AWESOME!) 😉

Hi, it doesn’t convert well in cm. Usually in feet and inches it’s 1” of braid = 1 foot of cord or similar, but for centimetres it would end up being every 2.54cm = 30 cm of cord! I’d recommend finding out how much you need in feet first and use a converter to find out centimetres. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more help!
