I absolutely agree with you man. I own a pair of piano black signature S8 and those speakers is an absolute joy to listen to. Auditioned several of the so-called high end brands that costed way more and the sound from the S8s was the one that did it for me. Never regretted that decision one bit.😊
Definitely agree. I've been using a pair of Monitor 90p V3's for a while now and although they aren't near the high end of the paradigm line, I love the sound and impact they provide.
Paradigm- Anthem makes nothing but top notch quality products. That blue is just absolutely gorgeous. I know because I own and have owned quite a few of their products. I just absolutely love my Signature S8. Listened to several way more expensive speakers before I made the decision to go with S8s and I knew instantly it was right choice the second I heard them. Noticed I said second and not minutes.
Hi. Good things do come out of Canada, but insofar as the National Research Council goes, they've been out of the picture at Paradigm for a long time -- Paradigm has had all their own in-house research facilities for over 25 years.
Definitely -- and Paradigm was one of them back then. In fact, in the 90s, Paradigm set up the Paradigm Advanced Research Centre, in Ottawa. The two guys who headed it up then and are still there today come from NRC.
I auditioned these at a stereo store here in Portland. powered by a Bryston amp we listened to Bonnie Raitt's version of "Right Down the Line" from the "Slipstream" album. it was like being in the studio with her. truly amazing. in the past I've listened to many different models of Paradigm speakers. all very good and a great value. I can't afford the Persona 9H but after listening to them for the better part of 30 minutes I'd say, given the much higher priced competition, they are very much worth the asking price. give them a listen if you ever get the chance.
Oh yeah, I heard the 9H for the first time today powered by the Anthem STR amp/preamp... I was completely speechless!!! Deepest bass I’ve ever heard too, and that’s coming from a guy with Klipch RF7’s with dual 10” woofers. Anthem + Paradigm is my new dream setup 😎
I heard the Persona 5f todays and came away thinking at times they were a touch rough and hot on the top end, other times it was the closest I ever heard a speaker to sounding like live music. I need the Persona B's in my house, in "blue" please!
i.m sure they sound good - but i saw some issues in the manufacturing quality - after 5000$ and up the details are very important even inside the speakers
You better believe they have issues with manufacturing quality! I bought a pair of S8 v.3's back sometime ago, and it took THREE pairs of speakers before I got a set that had cabinets that didn't rattle.
So,how that compares to a 10k dolby atmos system i mean what’s the difference with just having two front towers compare to the whole system you can get for half the money?
Indeed! By far the most expensive loudspeaker Paradigm has ever made. That said, it is THE most expensive one -- their flagship -- so they offer many more models for far less.
I'd like to know what products you invest any money in that odesn't market or sell exactly the same way. So far as I am aware, everything in trade / market / sales ... buys materials low ..and sells products high. That's business. .. Could you express a business model that encompasses the real world factors that can cover all aspects of unforeseen market and employment while selling products at very marginal or " at cost " prices? .. I don't see how the thought you present is a rational disapproval just because they are "expensive".
