Our FOCUS PARALANE is a super-fast road bike, but is also capable of so much more. It's got adventure in its DNA. With its 30-mm grooved tyres, 1x11 gearshift and the option of fitting mudguards quickly and easily, the PARALANE Factory is ready for adventures on tracks and trails and in poor weather conditions. So just how far will this type of adventure road bike take you? We put it to the test and sent US Cyclo-cross champion Jeremy Powers to Iceland to push the PARALANE to its limits. Jeremy Powers, you're really a good actor. On top of being a strong rider. Most of the other riders would end up looking foolish and out of sync in a clip like this, well done.

I bought it for my 70 years old father (Yeah - he still had to learn riding drop bar bikes in this decent age! :-/)

just got one, enjoying it so far, although had to change the bar tape on the Ultegra model as it was a bit nasty. Looks great now with a red and a black Fizik saddle and red bar tape :-)

Change wheels for tubular tyres... expensive but its work.

I have flat tires with tubular as well. It it nearly the same concept, but much more difficult to repair it. May you get less snake bites, but puncture it with a sharp stone…

fabi Schau dir auch mal das Focus Mares an. Ich benutze das als Rad für alles, 50% Straße, 50% Waldwege. Das Rad ist echt super! Ich finde es auch auf längeren Touren gemütlich, auch wenn es ja eigentlich für CX Rennen gebaut wurde.
