I had to pause. Cracking up at your comment when you were talking about how fresh the air is up there then compared to Port of Spain. ” The whole ah Port of Spain could use ah bush bath” 😂😂😂. I remember as a kid the few times we went there thinking why did it smell so bad at certain areas. So now I know that hasn’t changed.
Camille, glad to bring some joy. However, Port of Spain has gotten worst: Has Port of Spain been abandoned? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zckii2jjemk.html
Jazzy, you could so long as your vehicle can handle steep inclines and you are not with a lot of weight. I would also suggest getting to the lookout via the North Coast Road and not the usual way people use to get up Paramin.
Thanks JB I support your videos very nice job showcasing my beautiful Trinidad and Tobago especially seeing you do this to support your autistic kids, I can relate to you cuz I have a special needs granddaughter... wish you the best.
The sky looks so close. An FYI for tourist or Trinis who have never been to the Maraval -Paramin area. Paramin is famous for planting seasoning - chive, pimento peppers, thyme etc. and vegetables. They also have an annual harvest a big event in November, and on Carnival Monday night Paramin is the place to be with the blue devils. Paramin is also known for parang music.
I'm originally from San Fernando but migrated many years ago. I never heard of Paramin when I lived in Trinidad. I learned about Paramin later on in life and I researched it and looked at videos on RU-vid and I say to myself I must go up there one day. I did in 2019. It was a wonderful experience. I hope when I visit 🇹🇹 this year I would love to do the trip again.
Hey Bro. I'm from Diego Martin area, now living in Canada. I really enjoy watching your videos on the weekends. Apart from watching other videos on RU-vid. I rated you a 9 out of 10. Continue the good works.
Excellent Video! Enjoyed every bit! Thanks a lot much appreciated! 🙏🙏 My husband said that your videos are the best! Excellent conversations. Thoroughly enjoy.
I had the opportunity to meet a very interesting person, he was from Trinidad, I was surprised that we have a lot in common, after I started to study everything about Trinidad, but there was little information, and by chance I saw your channel, thank you very much. (my birthday is the day of the Republic of Trinidad and Tabago)
That is interesting... and should I take it as a special interest? 😉 You will surely get both the good, bad and the ugly about Trinidad and Tobago on my channel because unlike the others I focus on the reality of things. I take it you have seen many of my videos on Ukraine? Please feel free to respond to them, it will be nice to have someone from there involved: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-U4-1fX7qbsw.html
Michelle, yes, some parts are like that but every time I go up there it becomes less green and more with concrete. i guess I lament because I know how it used to be.
Now, I am finding the time to watch this captivating road trip to Paramin. Went to Paramin as a young child, but not that far up. I would accept any opportunity to go on this trip, as long as I can be assured that the vehicle and the driver are safe and reliable. Actually felt like I was on this drive; thoroughly enjoyed it 💯👍
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. There are drivers for hire that take you up there. They are accustomed to traversing the roads and give tours too. There is also a Part 1 to this feel free to look at that one where I go on different roads: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6hOC38i9-2w.html
Hey brother great vids. Want to go up Paramin this week. I have a manual car. A friend said his Tucson strained to go up to the lookout. I was told by a resident to take the North Coast Road and then head wherever. Do you think the drive is manageable in the manual car (not van)?
@@JBsManCave I reached up to the lookout but I did not go up to Paramin. Instead I went over via the Fond Pois Doux Road off of the North Coast Road on the advice of the resident.
But Sir you sound very young I will be 63 this year and I never experience that dirt road you are talking about, my grandmother died at 94 in 2000s and she told us about the dirt road back in her days. People who walked those roads when it was dirt they are now in their 90s.
the person coming up the hill have the right way but also the driver coming down have to take it on the turns what is very steep or have to wait for the one what is coming up the hill to pass first
Nope JB I won’t be going up there when I hopefully visit in June. I don’t like heights and the no rail thing has me very weary. I understand that it’s very expensive for the government to fund something like that but considering how close the houses are to the road especially at the “drop off” kind of turns 😳😧 I really think something should be implemented for at least certain spots. You’ll literally fall right on top of someone’s house. But what a beautiful drive minus the garbage. Love all of the trees. I think I’ve heard that the soil is very rich there also.
Camile, yes, but they are smaller in size than the ones in North America, but still it is quite an accomplishment considering our tropical temperatures.
as someone from Paramin I would more call it the countryside since people always mention village when they say Paramin. But I wouldn't call Paramin a village since it's a pretty big place, so yes it's kind of a countryside
I live up in Paramin and I myself am also a sucker for the views, so beautiful. Should definitely come, so many places to experience, from the rivers to the small beaches and views. And there's people from Paramin doing tours with Maxi's and jeeps so would recommend that. If you ever visit hope you have fun and enjoy it❤
I went to paramin once and the furthest i reach was by the R.c church i could tell you i will not drive up there you have more belly than a calabash you well good man. Lovely view 🌟⭐🌟🌟
Can you make videos from every point to end in the country, can you make videos traveling most of the roads in Trinidad it will really help me to get about my country, I don't know my country that good seeing how to get around in RU-vid make it better, Google Map don't really give you that but it takes you there. Cool videos keep making more how to know most of the roads in the country, for the next generation of drivers like me
JB in New York when you purchase a movie ticket you also purchase a seat, so there is no picking and choosing. Is it the same way in Trinidad? I honestly have forgotten.
Michelle, that only takes place in certain cinemas here. Even so, they allow you to choose where you want to sit so in the end they look for somewhere close to the next person.
@@JBsManCave I think Adesh was responding to the part where you talk about your vegan lifestyle closer to the end of the video. Thanks for posting these videos btw
