Till we have better batteries, definitely. I think, rotary engines as Omega 1 is the answer.

You mentioned the problem with the electric version world be energy density of the pack, and you couldn't put a lot of batteries on and would still be lackluster in flight time. But if you consider your product as a one time winch that you can solo use to get to altitude and then go and XC properly due to the good aerodynamics... well you don't need that much power time to do that.

It's good to finally hear what the motor and propeller sounds like along with a take off and landing. Looks perfect for us PG guys wanting to climb up and turn off the motor for some thermal flying. Have you tested the engine in warmer temps.? (26C-33C)

Awesome! But I would still go electric! Maybe instead of going for the whole package, which means lots of trial n error, you should try to refine the ducted fan assembly first and sell that separately from motor and harness. I would order 3 or 4 right away, if the price is right! Best wishes. Luca

Is there any use off clutch box or reducyion gears. U can solve your noise problem by replacing with 4stroke engine , its heavy but resultantly weight can be equalize with little nominal silencer and less fuel weight.

Запуск серии - это самое сложное и самое ответственное. И, на мой взгляд, важно хоть примерно о х-ках сказать: какова максимальная скороподъемность и максимальное время работы? Ведь чисто технически, "вкачав" мощность, можно хоть на 200мм нужную тягу получить - но будет ли это иметь смысл, если время работы силовой установки составит лишь 10 минут. Время работы - для потенциальных покупателей очень важно.

Have you considered using an inflatable wing one that would be filled with lighter than air hydrogen? Neutral buoyancy pretty easy to achieve. No power required

Great design concept for PPG’s. One question not brought up here is, could this design be modified for hang gliders! I have 50 years of hang gliding including some solo flights on PG’s AND have over two hundred flights with Mosquito and Doodlebug power harness. In my constant search for the perfect Hangglider power assist systems (gas or electric), we find many challenges if we are to keep it foot launch able . Ie; weight, drag & structure. I find the biggest design issues for hang gliders are the prop space limitations and the associated safety. Ducted fans have the best Solutions thus far even though they to have there own unique issues. My biggest disappointment about your design product now is that it comes from a land of people who elects to hide under a rock and fails to recognize or care about your mind controlling corrupt government and its oppression on innocent countries! I always thought the Russian people were smarter…..

Hopefully someday I can support Russian made products again but it is difficult for me to do so while they are in Ukraine.
