@@ShadowRyas348The parasite was gradually taking over Leon's mind and body (explains his eyes turning red), and he was having an episode at the time that Ada walked into the room during that cutscene. Ada knows that Leon wouldn't consciously hurt her, so she let her guard down and that's why his parasite-possessed self was able to choke her.
