If another adult is with him and supervising him the entire time that he’s in the children’s area, then it should be fine. I think the library is concerned if he is left alone in an area with little kids, which is totally understandable. I wouldn’t want my kids in an area with a single grown adult staring at them.
@@mkevicus1755 he should be able to go with his caretaker to get the books but not sit in the kids section. Rules are rules. Get over it. It's to protect our kids or you don't care about them until they act like terrors and then you people complain about that. You don't get to change the rules because you don't like it. They are there to protect everybody not just one side.
People have lost their friggin minds!!! Let the young man use the children’s section of the library!!! He has a care giver with him for Christ’s Sake!!! What has our society become??? Sue the pants off of the library!!!
@DonnellOkafor-pd7yn First, it’s obvious you didn’t listen to the video! Second, He has been going to that library for years! Third, the library is aware that his brain is that of a five year old. DAMAGES PROVED!!! Troll someone, Idiot! I’m an attorney!
What are they doing wrong? It is to protect the kids. Sorry, he has developmental issues but once you go down that rabbit hole sick people will exploit it. I stand by the library decision. Sorry that he was development like that but we must protect these kids.
@DonnellOkafor-pd7yn Right. Always trying to change the rules to suit their own agenda and everyone suffers. One little family or bigger lawsuits where he might hurt any innocent kid and there is bigger litigation.
This is highly disturbing, and this is discrimination! The library director doesnt have the right to prevent Matt from accessing suitable books at the public library, wtf. Edit: If anything, then make a section in the Adult section of the library for people with special needs.
You can Google "West Harrison Library Petition" and it will come up. Also googling "West Harrison Library Director" will bring up a page to send a direct message to them.
simple solution, someone in the area with a young child needs to ask Matt to take the child to the library. and then he will be in compliance and there is nothing they can say!
@@VOMITQUEEN ACE HE WOULD NOT BE WATCHING THE CHILD!!! how does it work with your child like mentality...i don't remember the age they said, but a 9 year old is very independent..and the parent of the young child can also be there..maybe a parent has 2 kids, this guy accompanies 1, parent accompanies the other...
