I think one of the reasons Judo is so huge in France is because they have Teddy Riner. Having such a long standing and decorated champion must be a huge inspiration for French kids and also a big motivating factor for France to take Judo seriously. But keep doing what you're doing - more exposure British Judo gets the better! Best wishes
Sure Riner had an impact, but judo has been massive in France for decades. What's up with British judo, though? There used to be so many top judokas in the 80s and 90s.

It is a pity that in the UK judo is not so popular. Here in Brazil maybe 2/3 of the children have already done at least one judo training. An amazing sport, congratulations!!
