Most of them are forced to do it,theyre ususally very poor indviduals who live in romania in horrible conditions. They often get kidnapped and exploited around the europe.I watched a documentary about it and one girl said she earned 14,000 euros and send it to her mother to build a house.@@janettesanjuan2452
My mom got got back in the early 90’s in the Bronx NY on Fordham Road. She bought a bigger bag and put a rat trap in it. She went back to Fordham with the trap set in the bag. We were walking together and i heard a massive crack and homeboy ripped his hand out of my moms bag while screaming at the top of his lungs! His finger had to be broke. He ran down the block and disappeared by V.I.M. Everybody was dying from laughter. Great times!!!
A group of three or more girls tried and targeted me on the metro today, they quickly scurried away and pretended they couldn’t understand English when I threatened to break all the fingers on the one trying to get into my rucksack. Worst part of the whole thing was one of them had a baby in a pram, the bystander syndrome here in Paris is shocking…not one single person around me tried to give me a little nudge to warn me of what was happening. Metro was packed so people definitely took notice especially after I shouted at them. Ridiculous, I hate working here 😅

NEVER pick up something for a woman that drops it. For example a water bottle. They work together on a train and try to surround you by appearing to be so polite to let you go before them while exiting a train for example. I had a young pregnant girl on a train in Italy suddenly drop a water bottle. My friends and I were already suspicious as we were approaching our stop. We all just stood there, looking at the bottle laying on the ground. 😂
It's so sad. Because of these people real PPL don't get help in need. And problem is..... Always bad PPL come across good ppl. Good ppl never meet good ppl.😢
This only happens because people are living in bad conditions. Blame the governments for creating such environments. Other countries don’t have these issues at all. People in public trust each other completely. And Never worry about these things
Complaining as usual are we, if only things were that easy Martha!? Wish you could atleast manage running multiple businesses like Trump or Warren Buffet hiring the jobless and down trodden around your city or neighborhood instead of being 'Mrs. Complain Martha' all the time! Should be easy for you just need to put some of that 'effort and energy' you commented about. 😎🤓
Don’t let them surround you in a packed train even during hopping in and out, that is when they steal. Always put your purse, bags in front of you with your hands on them. They are in the airports too pretending to be tourists, travelers but same modus operandi.
Obviously. I keep a close eye on my belongings and back. I know very well that group of pickpocket girls. They can be spotted in Metro line 6 in Paris (where there are large amount tourists, also where the Eiffel Tower is located)
These are some Romanians who goes to Paris and most parts of Europe in order to do the same exact jobs, you will find teenagers , kids, parents, their uncles, cousins ganging up. Once every 3 months they will go back to Romania for a very lavish wedding, birthday parties or villa building, then go back again to do their "jobs" .It's a family business. Gypsy.
The kids are both victims as well as career criminals by the time they reach early teens. Victims of trafficking and slavery as they are sold off from family to family, which they then to need to pay back through proceeds of crime. Victims of child SA as they tend to start having babies around the age of 13. Among many other things. It's literally medieval stuff happening in the center of our most modern cities and nobody seems to bat an eye.
From Romania, Bulgaria, Balkans. Family trainned. What you don't see is the other side of the iceberg. They're never alone. Brothers, cousins are on the phone, giving instructions. Sometimes in the same wagon. You see 5, they're 8. Thats why nobody reacts, they get violent. Once I started to speak english with chinese's, they kept on looking at me, like....beware.
They come from Romania, Bulgaria and the Balkans but they are gypsies, let’s just clarify that. No REAL Bulgarians, Romanians and etc. would ever do something like this.
Those are gypsies that come from Bulgaria, Romania and etc. This needs to be clarified. Real Bulgarians and Romanian’s would never do things like that.
I was with my sister in Paris. We are both from New Zealand but she lived in England since she was 22 and I was visiting her. I traveled to many countries on my own but we went to Paris together as she was working there. We were at a restaurant and I had my handbag next to me whereas she had her large handbag on the floor. When the table next to us left one guy started walking towards it and I wondered why he got up from a small table to go to a table for 8. I felt something was off and I said to my sister pick up your handbag now. She did it but told me I was paranoid (coming from the one who regularly got her phone or wallet stolen or she left them behind). I looked him in the eye and he turned around to go in the opposite direction. The next night we went to another restaurant and randomly the couple that were sitting on the other side of us the night before were sitting next to us. I started a conversation and the lady said that we were lucky because the people who took the table we had got their wallet stolen. I turned to my sister and said do you still think I'm paranoid. All this to say that locals need to have their eyes open as well not just us tourists.
@@dancing_qu33n I live in South Auckland and the crime statistics are not good. I am always aware of my surroundings. When you are in a different country in the tourist areas you would be stupid if you aren't extra careful of your handbag. If I wasn't aware my sisters bag would of been stolen. It sounds like you either haven't managed to go to different countries or you are naive to think that tourists are targeted.
@amyrivers4093 defensive much? Lol You mean *arent* targeted? Im from South Auckland. I've resided in Australia for the last 12 years. I have close family in Utah and the Bay area. My husband is from Morocco. I go back home every 2nd year. Try again. Paris? No one wants to smell piss, I'd go to Rewa for that. You fly to Europe and think you're well travelled? Lol
@dancing_qu33n yes I mean aren't targeted. Thank you for pointing that out. I'm well traveled because I've been to multiple countries on each continent as a female on my own. I've unfortunately had many instances where I've been preyed on and so I am aware of my surroundings but not to the point where I stress over it. I don't think I'm better than anyone who hasn't it's just shows that I know and have experienced what can happen. Your comment to me was judgemental and unnecessary, so yes, I'm going to be defensive when you come at me with that attitude. I have no desire to argue back and forward with you especially since we come from the same place. I was a teacher at Manurewa Central School for many years. Did any of your relatives go there. I'm asking because you mentioned Rewa. I'm not sure how long it's been since you came back to Auckland but a lot of the main streets are full of crime and people begging for food. Teenagers working for gangs are stealing and also attacking women in groups. I was broken into and assaulted. Anyway I wish you all the best.
You’re absolutely right! I’m a Londoner and have even struck up convos with thieves. I’ve had one tell me he waits outside train stations during peak hours. I’ve had a friend get her phone stolen TWICE in 6 months. Phone in pocket 1st time in a busy cafe. 2nd Phone on table whilst working on laptop in an empty cafe during the day. She’s Moroccan too so it’s surprising considering. I’m known to be paranoid, and despite travelling to Morocco, Paris, Rome, Nigeria (the crazy filled markets), I’ve never been robbed. It pays to be paranoid sometimes.
@@livelovelaugh85 well the European Union doesn’t have borders. a Romani network with big guys on top. All the girls tell the cops they’re 15 and their name is Maria.
I had an elderly woman try to pick my pocket at the Garden of Versailles. She bumped into me rather hard, and when I looked down, my over the shoulder tiny purse had been slightly unzipped. I was smart enough to have everything of importance in tight pockets.
I experienced this in Paris, a girl shouted oh theres a ring on the ground, is it yours? Me being from South Africa knew better than to take her seriously, just ignored her.
Those gang of girls are not french, they came from Serbia or Romania, they are in every touristic place: Nice, Cannes and also in others touristic city in Europe, they belong to eastern mafia. They are young, sometimes 10/12 years, be aware getting on or off trains, bus: they are « professional »...and sorry for my bad english😱
Sad. Recruited by adults who groom them to be criminals. At that young age they are easily corrupted by adults as they have been trained to trust, obey and respect adults from practically infancy. I hope they get out of that mess. 😔
I got picked by adults near that station. They splashed something on my shoulder, came up and started wiping it. Said it was a bird, offered to help. Whole thing took about 20 seconds. They took my cards and put my wallet back! Half hour later they had got $10,000 from Amex and Visa.
You will get the money back and have your bank cancelled the card. Request for fraudulent activity. So sorry you experienced this. Also, there must be an alert to make that huge transaction.

When we travel abroad we always always freeze our cards after every use. It’s as simple as going on your app to unfreeze while in line to make a purchase and takes 30 seconds to do. If your cards get stolen or skimmed it’s basically useless to them.
We went to paris in February we got on the train and some man was staring at my 2 year old in her pushchair his eyes were so evil and he just couldnt take his eyes off her so me and my husband turned her around and this man was breaking his neck to look at her!! I have never felt paedo vibes from anyone before i could just see it in his eyes what he was thinking!! Never seen anyone look at a child like that before 🤢🤢
You know something? I've been jumped by a gang, and if you were to attack these girls back? They'd probably be in tears. They need a reality check. There isn't a fight in them. So Sick of ppl getting Away with this.
when I visit Europe imma stuff a fake wallet with gym socks, cut up underwear, used tampons, and rotting food that have been lying in the sun for weeks, and spray some fart spray in it, then leave it sticking out of my backpack😇😇
Wow they're blending in more now. They used to stick out with the long skirts and buns in their hair. We lived in Paris for 4 years and in the big tourist spots you could pick them out a mile away.
A woman used her child to pick pocket me in Sacred Heart Church in Paris...in which was an epic fail...lol. i took my hands out of my pockets for three seconds. Then, i put it back in my pockets. The funny part is the child's hand slid in my pocket the same time as mine did. The mother was mad that i caught the child. My pocket was empty anyway. My money was hidden elsewhere. And while exiting the church, on the ground it said, "Beware of pick pocketers." 🤦🏾♀️
I was visiting Paris some years ago a train station near the louvre museum in Paris. I was about to go down a really long escalator when I felt something on my back pocket. I suddenly turned around and saw a group of mostly girls around 15 years old, one of them had her hands around my waist. I instantly realised what was happening and grabbed my wallet from my pocket. I yelled at them but realised there was nothing I could do about it and thanked my lucky stars I reacted in time. I have never ever kept my wallet in my back pocket ever since.
One my friend used to carry vacant pocket ..he had placed condom in it with oil layered over it 😂😂 Funny thing is that his pocket got snatched ..and we were died by laughing ..
Went to a Celine store in Paris. They keep the doors locked. You have to knock, the security guard lets you in. They ask you what you need. I can understand why.
A friend of mine had over a grand taken out of his pocket in Paris whilst reading a map for a guy, who said he was lost! When he went to the police station to report it, the officer pointed to five others waiting to report similar losses! Moral don't take valuables to paris
So the first time this happened to me was in Rome. A bunch of girls came to me and my husband with some empty coffee cups asking for money with one hand and trying to steal with the other hidden under a blanket. I grabbed this old lady's hand and started to check if something was missing inside my purse. Thankfully wasn't. She was soooo mad at me. Second time was in a metro in Madrid. I didn't even realize she was searching inside my purse. But I instinctively grabbed her hand.. I squissed it so much that she stated at me with pain in her eyes.. Not even knowing what to do. I wasn't sure if she was a thief tho. But when I let her go.. And she didn't complain then I knew she was. 😅
I have been living in Paris for over 15 years, it never happened to me even once, however pickpockets tried to steal my belongings three times in 5 days in Madrid
They really target tourists on the Eiffel Tower. I saw one going in the pocket of a gentleman in my tour group and I pulled the pin on my permit alarm. I shared with the tour guide what I’d seen and he cautioned everyone to be aware. The pickpocket left the tour group.
I got robbed in turkey in the train too. By Syrian women dressed all in black and they pushed me in different directions, one on each side and one in the back. So I didn’t realize the one in the back had already opened my bag and took my wallet. Thank God I didn’t have my passport and all my money because I was warned by the hotel concierge if not I would have been screwed in a foreign country
What is it with teen girls in Paris! Once a group of them came up to me to ask to sign a petition, and while i was looking at it, one of them tried to grab my phone out of my bag pocket and hide it between her folders. I caught her red handed and they quickly went away.
This is very common. Or they will ask you to sign a petition and steal your money at the same time. If I try to warn you, they will surround me and be very agressive. I am french and I can not accept that these foreign girls attack and rob the tourists, but the law protects them as they are young.
@@johanna7164 No culture is exempt from criticism. Either change the culture, or deal with the criticism. Also, the woman was harassed. Should she just accept that, just because a minority group did the harassing? I think not.
I remember my bf and i were travelling. And im a bit more used to potential pickpocketers. So when a giy came up to ask and asked us for stuff like where the next train goes i took a step so i was slightly behind them. Because i saw how he was trying to get my bfs attention to one of the signs (he was really smooth but my alarm bells are always up). I saw he was about to put his hand into on of my bfs pockets but he saw i knew his plan so he smoothly acted like he was just thanking my bf. Now i will never have 100% proof besides the fact i was feeling suspicious of this giy. But i told my bf not to in nteract with anyone and put all his stuff further in the back (he didnt wanna listen before) but that scared him enouh cuz he was clueless.
Ligne 6 ici, presentes aussi sur la ligne 1. Faire attention elles sont egalement violentes quand elles se font démasquées. Et il y a toujours 1 ou 2 adultes dans les parages qui les accompagnent.
Agreed. What a useless and pointless video. This is like recording a random group of people on the streets and say, “These are the best bakers!” although it does not show anything to imply that the people are bakers or even kitchen workers.
@@Tammy166 exactly. Nothing like a bit of witch-hunting based on zero evidence. One test you could run is to rename this video with all sorts of other titles, like ‘famous street dance group prepare for surprise performance’ and see how commenters respond differently
Never let the strangers especially the teenagers to help you. We got pickpocket when they 'help' us with the luggage at the escalator. It happened at the train station in Paris.😢
London, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Brussels, Paris, Barcelona, etc they're all the same just read their body language. So simple is that. Learned my lessons not to be too nice to people.
We were in Paris this weekend and a group of girls tried to separate me and my husband while we on line 6 at the metro. My husband kept trying to get by but each way he moved she tried to block him. I grabbed my husband’s hand and in a loud voice said, “EXCUSE ME”. She got out of the way and looked up at another girl. They moved away from us and got off at the next stop. When we got to the Eiffel Tower stop they were already there looking for more targets. They didn’t get off at the stop. They just got into another car since I had “made” them. My husband said, “I wonder why she wouldn’t let me by”. I told him because she was trying to rob him. So glad I had bought him that anti theft bag and he had it in correctly.
They tried that with us, the said they found a diamond ring and we could keep it but would like some cash for it. We told them to keep the ring and get lost. They will try to scam and steal in Paris.
i dont think its the greeks themselves. greeks are nice people generally . had good experiences there but the scammers do frequent the beachers and touristy areas sadly more now. ugh i hate it
2girls targeted me in Paris metro one distracted me by asking if she was in the right metro. A young man exposed and yelled out loud but they didn’t not care. They just told him to let them earn their money.Fortunately they didn’t take anything
“Let hem earn their money…” LOL. That’s what’s so maddening about Gypsies. They sincerely believe that their scams and thievery are just their jobs, and see nothing wrong with it. Everywhere you find them.
Paris was a dream of mine after a few days there I wanna leave so bad that was the longest 2 weeks of my life. Pick pockets homeless graffiti gangs I literally have a picture looking at a guy trying to rob us when I was taking a picture of the eifel tower. The danger not worth it there is no police on streets and when I was there a person was stabbed randomly on the street. Is worse than Brasil there at least is just for money or material items no one randomly stabbed people walking on streets. Even on the plane to Paris you can’t go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and leave your items unattended because they stay awake and go seat in the person’s seat.
This is very common un paris, girls try to come around you and then take your belongings specially your DSLR camera, or most most probably they will ask you for a cigarette and try to act friendly ..looking at your bag and mobile phone etc, they will snatch your mobile and run away or ask you to pay them. This usually happens near the touristic places, and they dont speak english...just be ware and dont be alone...
No. Police are poor in France, not enough officers and since the pickpockets claim to be minors, they can't be put to jail they are just free to steal again
Worst thing people can do is put their wallets and phones in back pockets especially for the men who easily get distracted by a pretty girl because she'll be busy robbing you blind 😂
It's the same problems here in the UK. Why can't both the French & British governments do something about it ? No need to ask where they are all from either, it's pretty obvious. 🇷🇴🇧🇬👩👩👩👩
The Pickpocketing done in the UK started from way back as of the days of Fagin in East London. LOL Charles Dickens had to write about it in Oliver Twist.

I think only if you’ve been a victim or a witness of it you’d understand. They go in a pack 4+ better, from what I’ve seen and heard it’s always girls, at famous tourist stop train stations, where it’s crowded. They all surround you and bump on you during the train ride and you won’t notice your pocket’s empty till later. They get off at the next stop.
Anyone who was in Paris not so long ago knows that a group of young Roma looking girls in a metro or in a busy touristy place are usually thieves, unfortunately.
