The Eiffel Tower, is a symbol of Paris, France, and the world.
Nearly 7 million people visit the Eiffel Tower a year. The Eiffel Tower has many things to offer including an abundant amount of history, two restaurants and a beautiful scenic view.
The Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffel. It was built for the 1889 exposition universal to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the French Revolution. Interestingly, the construction of the tower took 2 years, 2 months, and 5 days.
During the early 20th century, the Eiffel Tower had been used as the first radio transmission station in 1903 and transmitted the first radio program in 1925.
Historically, the tower was the tallest building at 330 meters in the world, until 1930.

The Eiffel Tower has three levels. what makes the Eiffel Tower unique is the fact that visitors can access the various levels of the monument using the lift right from 1889. At the time, the existence of these lifts was seen as a great technical feat.

While the first level is famous for its glass floors, the second level is extremely popular for its views of Paris. The summit of the Eiffel is the observation deck and offers the most stunning panoramic views of the city.

Before the invention of electricity, the Eiffel Tower was first illuminated by 10,000 gas lamps, it was not until 1985 that the towers golden lights with 336 projectors using sodium bulbs to make an orange hue were implicated; in 2004 these golden lights were replaced with more environmentally friendly ones.

Sacre Coeur
Sacre Coeur, also known as Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, is a Roman Catholic Church located on the highest point of Montmartre Hill in Paris
The exterior of the church is made of travertine stone, which gives it a distinctive creamy white color that brightens up the skyline and makes it visible from almost any part of the city.

The interior of Sacre Coeur is just as impressive as its exterior. The focal point of the interior is the giant mosaic of Jesus above the altar, which is made up of over 7 million pieces of colored glass. The nave is adorned with beautiful stained-glass windows that depict scenes from the lives of Christ and other saints. The apse is decorated with a huge fresco that shows the Sacred Heart of Jesus, surrounded by the Virgin Mary and other saints.

Perched on the top of a small hill in the 18th arrondissement, the most famous Parisian district has lost none of its village atmosphere that appealed so much to the artists of the 19th and 20th centuries.
the Place du Tertre is a reminder of the time when Montmartre was the mecca of modern art. At the beginning of the 20th century, many painters including Pablo Picasso were living here.
A real melting pot of art and inspiration for the cinema, Montmartre still gives as much pleasure to those who stroll around it and figures high on the list for a stay in Paris.
