we finally got our paris trip :') paris is a city kurt and i could both see ourselves living in in the future and i swear the city was showing off to really convince us haha we got perfect weather, met some incredibly sweet people, and really just relaxed for the first time in a while. thank you to everyone who sent recommendations and helpful tips! love always!

I usually never comment on videos but after watching this vlog as a born and raised Parisian I felt like I had to. I’m often wary of Paris travel vlogs because I feel like many tourists only see the “idea” of Paris rather than Paris itself (and go home complaining about the noise, crowds, and rude waiters). But you didn’t, and you managed to capture all the little details that make Paris so beautiful and unique. Thank you so much for doing my city justice.

Ice in water 🤣😁, yeah, it gets really hot here in the states so the colder the water, the better 🙂. It is good/easier for your body to cool down if you're hot by drinking cold water. I was working as a cashier on the first day, grand opening, at a store in July. I forgot to bring cold water in an insulated cup (to stay cold 😁). After 2 hours, I realized I was hot & no (cold) water ☹️. Then a manager comes around with a cooler with water bottles floating in ice & water. That water was super cold & I drank the whole bottle down. Maybe 10 minutes later, I realized I was chilly from the water cooling me from the inside. I have to have cold water in the summer. Ice cold water is even better, in the summer. Room temperature water does not quench my thirst or cool me down. But in the winter, I do drink room temperature water, or heated water, because I'm cold & I do not want to get colder. I'm in North Carolina, on the coast (the beach), so I'm not in the desert or Florida. I'm 800 kilometers from north Florida. Summer here is very warm & we do not get snow in the winter. It is a very mild winter & we do not have to wear heavy winter clothes or heavy outer wear. So in relation to France on the globe, we are more south so it is warmer overall in the US. Thus, the need for ice cold drinks 🙂. I just remembered: I went to the south of France when I was 16, 20 years ago. I stayed with a family in Fréjus. I don't remember using ice cubes but I've always kept water in the fridge so I did that then. I was only there for 3 weeks in July.

Paris is so beautiful and even more beautiful through your point of view! It reminded me of the time I did my internship there and I tried to make the most of all my weekends, visiting museums, walking through all the neighbourhoods I didn't know, romanticizing my life to forget about work haha It was a tough time but also a very lovely one, full of good memories that came back to me when watching your vlog. I'm moving back to France very soon and I NEED to go to Paris, it's been too long. Also, Giverny looks like a dream

Amazing footage. I was in Paris Feb of 2020, right before the pandemic blew up. Made some friends there, and I miss them and the city alike. I'll be going back one day soon to see the Eiffel Tower once more. Went to Scotland earlier this year, and aiming for Rome in August for my birthday. Keep up the great vlog content. My very first memory of the water lilies from Monet, specifically the Green Reflections goes back to when I was in either Kindergarten or Grade 1? It's soo crazy to see you at some places I have been as well in the beginning of june 🥺 Paris is such a beautiful city, I could have taken a picture at every corner!! Also with the sparkling lights we got so lucky. It was the end of my birthday at 11pm and we were going to the hotel and the second we saw the eiffel tower it started sparkling for 5 minutes ✨✨ Hope you had a wonderful time 🌼

1. I love that you get water with coffee. 2. I love the music choices in your videos. 3. I didn't know Virginia Woolf wrote another book. 4. The food you pick is making me very hungry! 5. I'm super glad you and Kurt are having this time together. My goal is to get my passport this year. I have never got one since 9/11. I went to Mexico before that and we never needed a assport for that. But your trips now have m itching to get one! ( About to be 45) 6. Not least, but I'm super glad you both are feeling better! My three places I want to go: Germany (My sister was born there as my dad was in the army. She passed away at age 46) because of Beethoven, Austria because of Mozart and Poland because of Chopin. But I'd love to see Paris and Italy along the way too! (I am a musician and have researched these composers so it would be neat to see where they lived.) Thank you for the vlog! So pretty and even I felt relaxed.

I've been saving some of your most recent videos to watch after I got back from sicily, I'm so glad I did as I got covid travelling and now I have some beautiful videos to watch. We're going to dunkirk in July and Paris in August so this video just had me feeling so excited and good which is a lovely escape from the covid ! Just loving these videos as always 😊
