Such a dinky little coil. It seems just as effective as the larger one, though. A nice hunt, Bill. I especially like the unicorns. Hi Christine. Hope you've had some rest. Cuddles for Buddy. ♥

Yeah, it is so small. It is best used for tight areas around toys but the advantage is being over a target, you are directly over it. I think I would use it the most if I was going to spend a day just hitting tot lots... however, it really slows the hunt down.

I love my 6" coil in parks. It's so much lighter and helps me avoid some of the more trashy trash.

Catching up on videos been here in SoCal for a few wks now.. This Rain is nice but there is a lot.. Way warmer where I came from (was -10 with wind chill) so i'm enjoying the weather here. I'll be here for a while taking care of my Dad.. Back to the videos....

Hey Bill...I also use a small coil on my Whites, MXT detector. It's an awesome coil when you are in an area that has a large amount of iron in it. It's helpful to separate the iron signals from good signals. Yes, I do try to "dig them all", but I do skip some iron signals in iron saturated areas. I do detect some of our older parks but I use my bigger coil and they have to be older than 1940 to get my attention. I hope this info is helpful.

I do all my detecting in the woods where there are trails or where there used to be a house. I've found really old silver and copper coins, some as old as 1817. Even an occasional gold or silver piece of jewelry. Tot lots and grassy parks will likely not yield older couns. If there are woods near your location you might want to detect there.

Our schedule is crazy. She literally walked in the door, we did the wrap up then I walked out. I got back at 11pm and finished the editing by 2am.... good thing we are young...lol

That would be a real shame if you dug up a valuable key date coin but it had screw driver marks all over it. Value just went down to almost zero.
