With the support from Levi’s Skateboarding and the hard work from everyone involved with the Town Park project in Oakland over the past few weeks, the surrounding communities now have a fresh, top of the line cement skatepark to enjoy. On Saturday July 11th, crowds of local skateboarders flooded the new park alongside Dan Plunkett, Josh Matthews, Marius Syvanen, Al Partanen and more for the first real session since the cement was poured. Keith “K-Dub” Williams was there to cut the ribbon and soon after the skating began. We were there during the Grand Opening capturing all the madness, from the open skate jam to the best trick contest and more.
