Got brave and threw a Feather blade in my 78r and it was a nice close shave and no bloodshed. Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill soap, awesome cool shave

I have used the 78r now twice. My first entry into safety shaving was a Parker 98r with a feather blade - oops lol…a bit of a blood bath. The 78r perfect for me! I also have a Rockwell T2 … the Parker is about a 2.5-2.75 in gap/aggressive compared to the Rockwell. It’s a great every day or beginner razor. Just awesome…$26 bucks!

That whas a really good shave...☺ I recently bought a Parker R91...I love that razor..its the best i ever had... I use Derby Extra blades with it and Arko shave stick with Proraso white pre-shave 🤗

Of the ones I've tried, the two that come straight to my head are the Floraphobia and the Lønny. The one I used the most is actually the Nude, the one with no scent for the days I want to use a perfume. Thank you for watching and good shaves to you, sir 👍🏾 💚 💜 ✌🏾

I'm about to start using a safety razor for the first time and I am curious to ask what do you mean by saying "good for beginners"? If this razor is really good, What else do i have to look for? Thanks! 🙂

There are a lot of good razors for beginners. It all depends on where you are based and your budget disponibility. I normally advise a mild razor to start with so you can learn your beard face map. My number one advised razor is the Giesen & Forsthoff Timor razor, next would be this Parker and the Pearl K2, but if your budget can go up, then there is the Rockwell 6C wich gives you more options and is great to try different levels.
