Parker Shavette vs Dovo Shavette  

Both the Parker Shavette and the Dovo Shavette take safety razor blades. The Dovo Shavette has the ability to swap out the inserts allowing to use a black inser that takes "Dovo long blades". These are nice because you can potentially shave more of your face with each pass. The Parker shavette has a slightly different shaving feeling. It feels like you're holding it at a shallow angle when it's at the correct angle to cut. Ultimately, if I had choose one or the other, I would go with the Dovo Shavette simply because I like the ability to have a longer blade. I'm planning to buy shavette after shaving two years with safety razor. Probably a part of journey towards straight razor.

Fucking rad, i had some cheap shavette, clamp style I don’t really like it. I always find myself having to adjust the blade length. I’m really interested in that DOVO the ability to switch between safety razors and dovo long blade seems like a huge plus. Ty for this review I will be picking up the dovo

the dovo always gave me weepers and hair got stuck in the insert (never happened in the parker) and I never liked how light it was compared to the weight and heft of the parker which would do all the cutting. and also price of the dovo is ridicules compared to the parker and not worth it
