Thanks! Yeah I normally mention it...but didn't this time for whatever reason. I'm 10.5 brannock and went a full size down on these to 9.5 due to wearing them with thin dress socks.

It's not great, I agree. But it looks way worse under close-up camera work. When on foot, you don't even really notice it. And many welt joins aren't super perfect... one of those things I chalk up to variation and I've learned to live with.

Parkhurst boots, though well made, will not be perfect. Saying that they are among my favorite.

Good question! They are appropriate with both and I've worn them in both situations you mentioned!
